I think a lot of people are unaware of the changes in our immigration regime a couple of years ago and just assume many of the immigrants they see from e.g. Pakistan or Nigeria are here illegally.

Oh yes. I had successfully expunged him from my memory so thanks for reminding me.

Number of games attended is very much dependent on where you live, how much money you have, and how many priority points you have. I would argue that many of those leaving early are precisely the ones that go to every home game and most away games.

I think it's quite logical. A lot of what we understand as human rights are not that universal and have been developed in a particular time and place. Different cultures with different histories might believe for example the right of a society to live in peace and harmony supersedes various individual rights that in the UK we believe are fundamental. And even within this country there have been disagreements recently about the right of an individual to legally receive state assistance to die. In terms of human rights bills, again it's logical for me that these will need to be updated and changed as the world changes.

Overtaken Anne Boleyn as the worst person ever from Norfolk.

If there's one thing I absolutely despise about English fans, it's describing clubs like Bournemouth or Brentford who have had success more recently as "tinpot". I suppose though it's basically a response to seeing elite English football and its clubs being turned into soulless global brands; feels better when you convince yourself your club is a bastion of tradition, history and success and those around or below you are tinpot, history-less no marks playing in bland stadiums with no atmosphere.

Looks like he also thinks dentists are irrelevant

Top guy, great to see him on the mend, hopefully we can have a thread on him one day without some people being very weird.

A lot of people on social media about to find out again it's best to save yourself embarrassment later by at least waiting til the guy's arrested before turning him into an avatar of your own personal politics.

Some of the videos are incredible. Kids who've probably grown up in prison. I understand the concern about what comes next of course but there is no way out of the misery for Syria without Assad gone. Just a tragedy so many had to die so he and his family could cling on to ruling a hollowed out shell of a country for another decade or so.

Watched the highlights of the Chiefs game this morning over coffee and you just know what's going to happen. Even when the ball hits the post you just know it's going to bounce the right way for them.

Attack. We can't defend so we'll need to try and outscore teams ala Keegan's Newcastle.

Just a reminder that the most stable Arab country - Jordan - is led by a half Suffolkian (and you can tell it looking at him) king. East Anglian monarchy is clearly the ideal form of governance.
-
I think his attention to detail would have suited the Premier League more than the Championship. Feel like last year we were a bit over coached at times for games against teams like Sheffield Wednesday. But sure we'll never know.
-
I think we probably would have finished quite comfortably lower mid table with him.

I know every club has them but travelling often from E Anglia into N London I quite regularly get caught up in the pre and post Spurs match crowd and they do seem to have a disproportionate number of utter pond life supporting them, often early twenty something lads from Chelmsford or Bishop's Stortford still living with Mum.

Still lots of flaws but picking up points showing plenty of fight. -
**** me. Was already preparing for 0-1

Niche grumble maybe but really annoys me when commentators say things like "common sense prevails" when talking about objective laws of the game.

Genuinely though at first that this was a Ghanaian u-21 we had brought through the academy.
