  1. Yeah we're all Cov aren't we? Though like Alf Bentley I didn't grow up in the Midlands and don't really have many strong feelings about our local rivals, apart from Forest.
  2. Because it's an average yet completely ubiquitous beer produced by a multinational company that owes its popularity to a multimillion pound marketing campaign? It's an ok drink but anybody who appreciates beer from medium sized or small independent breweries are obviously going to have mixed feeling towards it at best. It's like asking why football fans dislike Man City.
  3. Don't do this. Don't anger the football gods...
  4. No disrespect to anybody, and I'm from a county that has a reputation for inbreeding and low intelligence, but Midlands football fans always seem like 50% special educational needs to me. Maybe it's the accent.
  5. warra start
  6. They were pretty cruel from 2010-16 as well, and more competently cruel.
  7. Even if he's fixed I doubt Enzo will start him.
  8. I don't know what you do but if someone walked into my place of work and started shouting abuse at me we would call security. Also I don't think there's anything that unprofessional about cupping ears, shushing the crowd, or even what Martinez was doing yesterday.
  9. I think often of the fat Soton fan 10 yards from me in 2019 that shouted abuse at Vardy about his wife at every opportunity and then got quieter and wetter as the evening went on.
  10. Yes and like with Vardy I think if fans dish it out players have the right to shove it back in their faces.
  11. He's somehow managed to combine the worst of both Argentinian and English footballers in a new ultimate shithousing **** footballer
  12. I think part of it is the notion that there is good and bad Guinness in a way that is different from any other beer.
  13. Thornbridge is a great brewery. Brother Rabbit is one of the only golden ales I've really liked.
  14. Neil Danns' son comes on and I remember I'll never be in my twenties again.
  15. Never knew...
  16. I have a Turkish friend who the first time he took a train in England got out at a station stop because he just assumed everyone (inc. the driver) would smoke. Lit up and turned around to see the train pulling away from the platform.
  17. Love it - the Conservatives spend much time and effort going after Rayner only for...
  18. But if what they said isn't supposed to be funny then I guess you are mocking them. A lot of people use the laugh emoji to undermine someones post instead of explaining why they disagree with it, which I find slightly strange behaviour in grown ups.
  19. I can imagine it pretty easily If I were employed in say the US or France. Obviously not in somewhere like Saudi but thankfully we're still closer culturally and politically to the first two countries.
  20. He always pronounces Germans the way someone would if they were about to complain they bombed their Gran's chippy.
  21. What's with the Guinness fascination these days? Pretty bland stout.
