His football abilities were "limited" in the same way that all players' abilities are limited. He was technically good and an intelligent footballer too. We struggled to replace him.

With my dad used to park at a car park near to de Montford uni I think. I used to call it the 'Carl Heggs carpark' because I thought the guy running it looked like Carl Heggs. My Dad used to say it looked nothing like him. This went on for a couple of years. Became a running family joke. One time we rocked up to park and the guy wasn't there, somebody else was. First time ever I think. We asked where the guy was and his mate said, "he's gone to watch his brother play football"... -
