  1. Hopefully the son lives and then is thrown into a tiny darkened cell for the rest of his life.
  2. Would like them to do it. If ever a fanbase deserved it.
  3. Why do you hate St Mirren? I'm sure there are legitimate reasons, I'm just intrigued.
  4. Poor Bills. Chiefs are finally crap and they're looking poorly placed to take advantage of it. Very Billsy.
  5. such a cockwomble thing to say
  6. Old firm manager golden age
  7. Tielemans vs United in the 1/4 final is an underrated one.
  8. I think Islam is the only religion where people use such euphemisms when talking about violence perpetrated by its followers.
  9. Enzo is such a woman, I love him
  10. That man had clearly never lived in the borough of Brent
  11. To be fair I do appreciate your superstitious-football-fan dedication to confidently predicting the exact opposite of what you want to happen.
  12. Maybe best is hyperbole but definitely my favourite just because you go in never knowing what you're going to find. And then walk out with copies of some obscure early Joseph Roth novel and a Yale history of gardening during the English civil war.
  13. Influential isn't necessarily best of course
  14. Sofia. Very nice city with lots of history. Comically dreadful football and crumbling stadia.
  15. All these people drinking round Kings Cross need to start shopping in Judd Books, best bookshop in England
  16. This sounds like the script from a perfume advert narrated by a breathy Natalie Portman
  17. I always liked it there. The ales were very aley, no juicy pales.
  18. Was just going to mention Jerusalem/ Holy Tavern. Is it still St Peter's brewery?
  19. "The BBC won't give an award to an Irish Catholic because he's not a minority" is a take dripping in historical irony
  20. Maybe once
  21. Quentin Tarantino, consistently and in so many ways
  22. Would say that the Strokes are the most influential band of the last 30 years.
  23. I think we need to ban @Lionator for our own sanity. Had a nightmare last night where I was huddled up in the corner of a subterranean bomb shelter, nuclear fallout swirling around above ground. Twiddling the knobs of a radio I finally get a signal, hoping it'll be an announcement from the government that the war against the Russian American coalition is over. Instead I hear a crackly voice announce.... "This season's delayed Europa League final was won by Nottingham Forest"...
