As much as I wasn't a fan of Enzo's style, you could still take some comfort in the fact he did atleast have a style, a vision, a project. Playing a very obvious Man City style with a Championship Leicester team was never going to be perfect but we all saw progress. I genuinely don't think Cooper has a style or a vision. He is the definition of winging it and his complete disregard for developing players like Fatawu proves that.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Larry_LCFC replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He has a role to play, and I don't blame him for being generally shite. It's Cooper completely misusing him. He's what we need to see out a game, can hold the ball well but also offers an attacking threat in small doses. I don't think even he thought he'd be starting every match -

And why would you do that with players that are dead on their feet? You have substitutions for a reason. However much you plan on defending, you still need an outlet and I rather have someone with energy in their legs. -

Cooper just point blank refuses to adapt to the game as it plays out, that's the most infuriating thing. Ayew dead on his feet and on a yellow plays 80 minutes? It's pure madness. It happens every single game when the opposition makes their first subs in the 60th and we insist on holding out. The opposition grows snd grows and we sit deeper and deeper. Terrible way to play football and decent teams will punish us. -
Horrible manager, horrible football. This is not the future.

We had to win and we got the job done by the skin of our teeth. But let's not pretend that wasn't an awful game of football from both teams. I wouldn't even argue we were less shite than them, they hit the post twice and one ruled out. We are a team of eleven players running around the pitch with no real gameplan and no real guidance. Why Cooper let's the players run themselves into the ground I will never understand. Subs were needed by the 60th minute. Fatawu and Ricky not starting is nothing short of a disgrace. It's interesting watching the players body language when they are recieving instructions from the technical area, it's arms out to the side and they are almost arguing back. Nobody understands what they want. Much needed 3 points, but I have never hated a manager as much as I hate Cooper. -
What has Ayew got on Cooper?
-
This is an embarrassment.
-
Give Fatawu some minutes ffs. How is he ever supposed to develop under this goblin?
-
I don't hate Ayew but he is so far off the pace for what we need from a winger. Its like watching your grandad shuffle around the supermarket. Just got to hope the yellow card will see him replaced early on.

Any team that makes us swap ends deserves to get battered.
-
Its just a horrible toxic system. Puts too much pressure on an aging vardy that's generally marked out of the game. And we will end up losing Ricardo at this rate. He's not going to stick around to be totally ignored by the clown of a manager.
-
Seen nothing from Ayew to warrant this love from Cooper. Bloke is an impact sub at best. Should be trying to develop Fatawu, he's the future for christ sake
-
If you could guarantee a loss would be the end of Cooper, I think nearly everyone would sacrifice 3 points tomorrow. Problem is I don't think Cooper's going anywhere, even if we get battered. Our biggest problem is we have such a weak mentality this season. Cooper has turned into a team that goes into every match scared. We are never on the front foot, we are never the ones taking the initiative and we are set up not to lose rather than to win regardless of who we play. That's a massive problem against teams like Everton and Bournemouth where we NEED the 3 points. In a way this season is a free hit with the points deduction we expected and the financial problems - nobody really expected to stay up. We've been given a lifeline and we are just wasting it. It's a horrible way to run a club.

90 mins of "Get into them, **** them up" being chanted might get the message across. -

Absolutely zero excuse for another negative, cowardly performance. These are shite, we are at home. We need to win by several. -
We aren't top 10, but we certainly aren't bottom 3. What we have seen so far this season is relegation form and we only remain out the bottom 3 on GD. The right lineup played with attacking desire and we have more than enough to stay up... weve seen glimpses of it. We just aren't even giving it a go and that's unforgiveable.
-
It's just indefensible. What on earth have we become? His lineups, his gameplans, his tactics and definitely his subs or lack of. It just screams nothing short of sheer incompetence. We are vile.

His game management is appaling again. We've got a chance here. Make a ****ing sub.
