  1. It'd be nice if he makes a career for himself here but at the very least it'd be good to get some decent money for him. Championship clubs will pay good money for a proven goalscorer
  2. Yeah there are definitely examples of it working but on the whole I think they're exceptions to the rule. And Liverpool were very patient with Klopp for the first few years, same with United with Fergie if I remember correctly (might be wrong)
  3. Not sure if it's a nostalgia thing but I feel like the art of defending has completely gone out of the window. Every club wants ball players but there's very few players who look like they love to defend
  4. That lotto lout was a bellend too
  5. The embarrassment of losing to Cov will do that to you
  6. We're not out of the woods by any means and I can see us being in the mix for relegation all season but our ability to consistently score goals gives us a real edge imo. Sounds a bit obvious I know but I'd rather be in our situation than the like of an Everton or Palace
  7. I like KDH but we need better and it isn't a priority position
  8. We should only sign Scandinavian goalkeepers from now on
  9. It happened with Rodgers here. Sometimes players just stop being motivated by the same old voice. I've said it before but except for the rare examples that you've given I think after 3 or 4 years you should be thinking about the next appointment Brighton do it perfectly, albeit their managers are poached due to how well they do. But unlike us with Brendan, they don't move heaven and earth to keep them as they have a contingency plan already in place
  10. I don't think they'll necessarily get a new manager bounce. I feel like that usually happens when the previous manager has "lost the dressing room" but it appears that they're still playing for him from an outsiders point of view
  11. Would a win in that game give him a reprieve or is it a formality that he's gone?
  12. I can see him pigeonholing himself as one of these "firefighter" managers like a Big Sam, Neil Warnock type. Longevity wise I don't think he quite has it yet but he's young so has time to learn. In the premier league you don't get that time to learn at a club
  13. I give it 5 minutes until someone replies to this saying "surely that's Claudio or Rodgers"
  14. Can't even really bring myself to read what's properly wrong with him but I wish him a full speedy recovery. A true legend of this club
  15. Will be genuinely gutted when he goes. Top class goalkeeper and seems like a great bloke too. Seen him on a couple of YouTube things and a podcast and he's so down to earth and humble. Needs to go for mega money, like what Chelsea spent on Kepa levels
  16. I do think O'Neil will go on to be a decent manager but just seems to have gone really stale. I don't think it's always as simple as the manager being shit
  17. They've conceded 38 goals in 15 games. That's not an easy fix
  18. More like Sesame Street
  19. First the sponsor and now this! I hope that poor girl gets every she wants for Christmas this year!
  20. I'd give him a bit longer
  21. What a great game week for us
  22. Gary O'Neil's going away with his BFH
  23. That's class from Bowen
  24. Don't mind that
  25. Another 15 shots for West ham so far. They're the masters of creating low goal probability chances
