  1. Here’s he till the end. I suspect the budget is so tight they don’t want to pay anyone off again. High chance Ruud quits I reckon
  2. If this was Italy, it wouldn’t be out of the question
  3. A proper voice would be an improvement wouldnt it? Someone the players have a fear of but it won’t happen here cos the chairman has allowed a hotline direct into himself. they’d managed to convince Top this squad were good enough for mid table under a manager different from Cooper.
  4. The club’s constant ‘make do’ approach is catching up. Hoping for another good goose of a manager but then get the arse when they **** off at the first offer. I’ve dim witted renewed on the belief we might actually change next season what an idiot
  5. A good chunk of this team turned up at Chelsea in the Cup last season. They are mentally soft, led by a clueless chump. Apparently at the club, there’s been a daft faux positivity all season. Time to get some cojones down Seagrave
  6. Problem was he turned his nose up at LCFC. No one with an accomplished, established CV was taking us on. Managers know we are terrible behind the scenes
  7. It’s going to be fun watch Top wiggle while his appointment is making his possession a laughing stock
  8. Well if the club were banking on a fee for Mads over the summer
  9. Defensive shape. Let’s not be silly here. As shit as we are, 1 training session a week isn’t going to be any good for Morga himself, let our team
  10. I get Monga not playing at 15 - simply it's hard to have him tactically on the same wavelength. However, for Monga to be convinced to stay he needs to see other young lads being given a go and at the moment, he sees Ayew or Reid chuffing up down the touchline. For example, Evans should be featuring.
  11. Him and Facu dragged down. A lack of quality to share the load with means they’ve attempted to do everything themselves on the pitch. Throw in the managers deciding to avoid playing Mavididi who you at least get one good game in 3 or 4 out of
  12. Been a bit of out of the loop cos haven’t felt well last week days, it was debated to release a statement. However I think it was collectively felt we wanted to illustrate the view shared by the fanbase as well, so paused it for now to get the survey out. It’s been great to be part of some really collective hard work by people over the last two, three weeks. We are getting there. Not perfect as you can see from the comments (valid) on here.
  13. Not necessarily clear though - how that translates to working hours. Could be more staff because reduction in hours elsewhere.
  14. Strikes me as effectively being used to pay for day to day costs of the club or paying owning transfer fees. One of the rumours was that the summer's spending was done on the provision Cannon was to be sold before 1st September, may be they thought they'd sell another too. To give any idea, our net current liabilities are £127m - that's some serious bills that need paying.
  15. Standard Brackley season - push above their weight, get to the playoff final, bottle it. Rinse and repeat.
  16. Huge game on Friday v London Lions. While Great Britain qualified for EUrobasket and look the best they have for a while with a full roster playing abroad including Ellis Quinn who is a superb prospect. However, the league is at crisis point again. The director of the league whom owns Sheffield Sharks accused the referees of racism towards his head coach. For the refs went on strike for a week and they have Canadian refs doing Sheffield games for the foreseeable future. At the same time, Basketball England (ie the FA) have taken the licence away from the clubs who running the existing league and have announced plans to start a new league from 26/27 with £15m American investments. It would bring around the third round of mysterious American investment. This is to the back ground of NBA now sniffing around Europe into creating their own league. Taking away some of Euroleague's strongest clubs and introducing Manchester City Basket etc. This is copying something they did in Africa but would cause a huge problem in Europe. Euroleague is one of European sports greatest spectacles and it's a real shame more don't see the scenes from the Belgrade, Athens derbies or Basket El Classico.
  17. Hmmm the safety net of the second parachute payment isn't so kind. Worth baring in mind that these 'results' are helped a lot by that.
  18. Anyone got any experience of Arlanda Stockholm airport? I arrive at 10pm in a week or so's time - unsure what terminal Ryanair land at? There's about four options to get into the city - the easiest Arlanda Express is a fortune. So trying to plan my route. Any help appreciated
  19. Double edge sword that - it's affected some clubs badly at the moment with multiple players leaving their clubs to play in this.
  20. You've identified me on the ground hopping thread already - I've had mates tell me to do a Football Tours agency
  21. As along as Rutland is swallowed up, I see they are making overtures to Lincs
  22. I should be earning commission off you Groby, that's two travel tips in a week
  23. Adidas that well known German sports brand too....
  24. The Eurostar sale right now is offering very good deals on things
