They didn't. Bilal was a recommendation from Leuven supposedly. -
That’s one way. You have three pubs nearby the station as well. The uber shouldnt be too expensive, it’s probably two miles from there to the ground. Walkable just about if you don’t mind a 30/40 minute walk. Other than that, it’s train all the way back to Leicester and then onto the 84 bus but there’s literally a stop outside the ground.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Well I got out at the weekend Saturday I ran Brandon Country Park near Elevden Centerparks. Trial route. Hard graft that. Sections of sand up hills. Was initially disappointed at my time but noticed that even the winner was two minutes slower than his average. managed 10k on Sunday too. Will do three runs this week and slowly try to back to pattern with the headaches reoccurring -
Tbf Dynamo coped well with 600 when they had the Groundhop here last season

We get more than that for the annual yarn bomb (now sadly bi-annually) or the Victory Show thanks. You can walk to Whetstone anyway, it’s nearer

Those tactics wow. Players in wrong positions throughout. Attacks in transition with 3 going forward. Left hand side pushes onto opposition full backs but right side doesn’t. It’s gotta be the compo keeping him in a job -
Still subjective. Haven’t trusted Opta since it’s supercomputer had us at 90% plus for CL qualification 🤣🤣🤣

From a pure selfish view be good to get some variety on away trips and no VAR. That’s the slim pickings

There was a moment notably towards the end where they were. Ricky went inverted a lot

I see his presence wasn’t warranted again tonight. Hope those empty seats went down well in Thailand. They are laughing at you mate

Face this, there was a reason Newcastle started doubling up on him. Take that as a compliment bevause it certainly means opposition know him

Evans is ready. There's a number of players who performed well at Premier League 2 level last season who are playing in the Championship or above this season.

Key point this. If there is one take the club should make from this season is that any plan to get promoted should be a two year plan. The signing of Hermansen and Fatawu last time was a good start but Coady & Winks, the anti. Many on here mention this at the time but other supporters wanted 'experience'. Take Vardy's renewal? Yeah he might do a job for next season but at 40 is he going to score goals in the PL? They won't though. There is no proper self assessment at the club. So why not sign a Richard Kone with an eye to give a year to bed down etc? If we get promoted too, there is a whole load of contract renewals to sort. So every decision made in the summer should be with an eye of Summer 2026.

Might be very lucky at the weekend and end up with a Swedish promotion play-off game to watch. Just all dependent on how the semi-finals go on the best of 7 this week

You'd find the same trivia within any other town or city what has had a ground in living memory. Demolished.

The Westerby Cup, basically as you said Leics County Cup. Some clubs still enter their county FA competitions with their under 21s and get the non league clubs a good pay day. Birmingham Senior Cup for example is very strong with Villa and Baggies in it.

Big one tonight for the CL spots with Rome v Juve and if you get bored of us tomorrow night, Bologna v Napoli will be superb.
-
It’s not just that. It’s when a DoF clearly spots issues at the club. They went out and got defenders in quickly. They sorted out the Cunha situation temporary too. As much about organisation as the managerial experience

My understanding was that if City were away, the ressies would play at home on the Saturday afternoon, sometimes a little earlier to avoid the floodlights going on Once read something like if you had one of the A to Z scoreboards at your home ground, it was often the quickest way of knowing the first teams score whilst they were playing away

Struggling to think of so many tight title races in the pyramid before. None of the Top 8 won in the Southern Prem. Conference North/South have 3/5 title contenders. South over Easter has Dorking v Worthing & Truro v Torquay ! Isthmian Prem has four possible winners too UCL North is another good un. North West Counties is daft - Bury have 109 points and a goal difference over 100, still not won the league
