Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
CosbehFox replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
I understand the arguments about updating with the modern times and security issues. However the argument isn't consistently applied by the club. Other clubs what do operate mobile tickets have a far more flexible attendance based system which means you can pass your ticket onto a friend or family that doesn't involve a convoluted telephone conversation to do so. There's no restriction on the number of games you can do that (although you expect a minimum attendance threshold to ensure the seat is used). Some clubs have ST holidays as well - whereby you can park your ST for a period. The whole security line is a joke considering how slack they've been when it comes to corporates being given tickets and passed onto others. If you want to go down that road, then doing it in a proper manner - not so some half arsed cash in to make people move over to digital tickets. If we were moving with the modern times, the club wouldn't be doing Disneyland light shows and all the rest of the old, tired stuff which went out of date 10 years ago. We'd have safe standing, local food/booze sold, flexible ticketing systems, encouragement of youth attending. -
Think QPR is actually the harder game for Leeds as they were will be low block and probably need one final result to get themselves safe

Have you read the Trust statement on it? I’d say in their position, it’s a well observed condemnation where they’ve asked for people’s views including non members to be received by them. They will be cross fan group working on this I’d imagine as well -
I’ve watched people this season been denying entry into the stadium with food. Very much depends what jobsworth you get
-
There is no extra work though - 21k season ticket holders possess a physical card in their wallet right now at this very moment
-
There's some good solutions other clubs do including season ticket holidays.
-
And blatantly doesn’t have a clue about football fans
-
There's a very good reason why you make that connection.

I read that as previous conversations about the use of Mobile Tickets but not a conversation about this level of implementation and the alternative option of a £25 charge.

My understanding is that you'd be correct - but how many of them have a smartphone which is operating the latest updates and software? -
Lot of stout drinkers highly recommend the London Black - there was a pub with it on in Bristol but I was too far cider’ed to switch onto stout at that point

Has had a working relationship with certain people at up the club, so will never get him say anything critical. Just defend, defend -
Penny might finally dropping there - but will take fans to be more active and louder about the section / potential for safe standing. Apathy is much as a killer to getting the club listen to fans concerns as the club themselves.

Davie G has it spot on. More numbers, more gravitas, more noise, more opinion, more hands to help build something which functions better -

It’s the middle management on this one. One chump in particularly I believe is insistent on it -
Gateshead hosting league football would be a bloody disaster waiting to happen anyways. Tiny crowds in a athletics stadium far too big for them
-
I thought that and I have just seen Man U's bench which is utterly horrific.
-
Bias I said yes - Hermansen absolutely, Ricardo, Winks, KDH are certainly squad players. As shown in our game v Chelsea and Bournemouth. Wasn’t largely my point - Cov been very vocal on social media saying the likes of Ben Sheaf are PL quality and they aren’t really looking like today
-
That awful accent After hearing a lot about their players, not a single one looks good enough for the top flight
-
Then he’d have a point but the example used was that of a fanbase actually collectively working together
-
I’d say that was the absolute definition of loyal supporters. They were largely boycotting an owner who’d moved them 40 miles away Hope they get hammered mind and are reminded that we’ve beaten the likes of Man U in living memory
-
His record and rep at Celtic is dreadful. Think he’s the sort of player once defenders realise his dribble style, he’s sussed. He’s very right footed
-
My gut is that if we play at a decent tempo, Saints will burn up. Their legs will start going with the schedule they’ve had. Bit like Norwich they might just give it in if we have a good early start
-
Like WBA, we have a cracking record at their place but they normally get something in Leicester
-
I didn’t debate that. I said that West Brom tactically played this game better. I said you can argue if they deserved anything.
