Which is something considering his chum Guillem likes waffling on about trying to take emotion out of football and play smart
-
Directly engage. Your replies to my argument don’t challenge it rather abuse it. West Brom’s main striker was suspended today. They played a false 9 system and the manager shown willing to alter formation etc to create chances. Played a hybrid back four/five system what was interesting - had positives and negatives but they continually baited our midfield out of the press and then used the space which Winks departed in front of the back four. Enzo by comparison in the games you mentioned has carried on the same tactics, and same player selections. The quality of chances created against Millwall and Plymouth were pitiful compared to what WBA created today. I could use the example of Daka mind who clearly low on confidence headed wide from my cross v Millwall and was then selected v Plymouth to miss a variety of chances, some of which didn’t make the keepers gloves. Failure of Enzo’s management compared to Corberan using what he had - ironically the false 9 scored today. That’s before we consider the respective quality of the opposition as well
-
Again no argument so abuse
-
No argument to the point then. He picks the players. Some of whom are badly out of form and have directly affected our results in recent weeks. If I’m perfectly honest, travelling down last weekend to that performance against Plymouth will mean it takes a lot to change my mind on the bloke

EFL Officiating Abomination Journal 23/24
CosbehFox replied to Trelleh's topic in Leicester City Forum
Utter crap. Thankfully favoured us on the balance of it. That decision he gave on the edge of our box in our favour was something -
I did because for some reason he picks those players who are utter duds ala Daka at Plymouth. At least West Brom could argue they didn’t have an outright striker playing. Doesn’t rotate the players and might have learnt his lesson today by giving Ricardo the day off
-
Depends what games you are talking about. Our defending in transition has been woeful and a direct result of the system we play. I don’t think we tactically outschooled Plymouth and Millwall. Quite the opposite
-
Tactically outschooled yes. If West Brom’s players can’t finish their chances, that’s their failure to not take advantage of the manager’s good tactical work
-
Got completely ripped a new one tactically. Insisting on Winks pressing continually leaves a huge gap in front of the defence
-
and they’d be much than justified given his off the field antics
-
Firstly what a good decent game of football. We can argue about whether it was deserved but I can say with confidence that Enzo was tactically outschooled. Experience of management was evident on shown. For once however players stood up. In some areas, promise finally delivered on.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
23:07 at Abbey Park - That’s my new personal best. That felt really progression - I was shifting halfway around but I felt relaxed and knew I had more to give. Sub 23 is the aim this summer and want to achieve a sub 50 10k again. Long distance feeling a bit of a chore but going to push myself out to a 3 hour time trail eventually. I have no races lined up bar Sutton Fun Run - so its made me concentrate a bit on mixing it up. Increasing number of runs but not necessarily mileage. -
Hard not to be personally when this time last week I was walking into a pub in Plymouth feeling like a fcuking idiot

Further highlights how shocking the accounts were without such help as this

This season at WBA shows how good he is. Budget very tight at start of season and he prioritised defence. As the season has progressed and he’s been able to bring in a player or two, he’s gone more forward thinking with two outright wingers. That said they’ve conceded a lot of xG recently and they’ve had a run of opposition who’ve been easy pickings
-
No cos his English is very, very basic. If you think on it we’ve never seen Top or Vichai speak live bar a very few words
-
Waffle mcwaffle. Someone’s shitting at the future bill they’ve got to pay
-
Logan is playing for as good as nothing. He’s on the board at Nomads. There’s a good four of five of their squad what have worked up the levels with them. Spalding have been getting Birmingham based players over
-
Preston looks promising for a Monday afternoon solo slope
-
Nomads messed it up. 2-2 v Corby. Moneybags Spalding now in position and an all Leicestershire playoff royal rumble on the cards
-
Some give the hierarchy too much credit in thinking there’s a ‘project’. LCFC’s managerial searches are largely agent led - and it’s about if you can wheeled around in front of Top (and let past the gatekeeper of Rudkin). The penny might drop at some point but Enzo’s agent is also Vardy’s and also the agent of one of only two players this season to get a contract. The latter of course being a player that the club has shamefully protected after a drink driving charge and had him as captain.
-
He will pimp out regardless. It’s point deductions whatever next season, look how Kompany’s stock has lowered
-
Market Street propped up now by a coffee shop, McDonald’s and a jewellers. That’s it
-
Amazed people used to go there when two very good pubs were a literal five minute walk away.
-
Exactly that. Already seen evidence of it on the weekend of the Preston game.
