Arsenal/military museum is low key underrated Pick a classical cafe and do it. Great experience. Cafe Sperl is a favourite here. For drinking and eating, I highly recommend the Mariahilf/Neubau/Spittelberg streets. Somewhere like Amerling Biesl, or Glacis Biesl is superb in the summer sun. Some really flash cocktails bars in the city if that’s your thing too

Simply location of where the stadiums are rather than geographical location. Cardiff is bang in the middle of the city centre. Edinburgh not too far either - very easy tram ride of 10 minutes. That allows fans to go in and out of the stadium - jump in somewhere for a proper meal, back and forth to a hotel, proper pubs. Very easily. Leeds Elland Road is a good walk and decent journey. If the stadium was central, it would be the literal perfect host. Magic weekend works best when fans can move around freely really in my opinion.

I agree with you Daggers. But worrying increasing trend of people going non league games, stand on the sidelines and think it’s right to outright abuse players.

My future brother in law is on the coaching staff at Thetford. It’s a bit more nuanced than that because Newmarket effectively timed and played it out to basically get the lad suspended near the end of the season. Thetford signed him from Newmarket. He got sent off after an interaction with a fan. Due to the nature of the red card it was subject to a further ban. So suspension was delayed. Joins Thetford and then the ban hits. However player wasn’t informed and neither were Thetford. Newmarket hold the info and then pay the fine themselves rather than player or Thetford - but held onto the information until basically playoff semi-final and then complain to the local FA that the player is banned. Heacham game is off as they don’t have a team to field
