That's until you consider that our FFP PSR limit is £13m next year, down from £35m. That's a 62% decrease. TV revenue goes from c£120m to £7-8m.

Not really because the trust board have nothing to organise this ‘drive’ for memberships. It’s been down to new members who joined literally two and half weeks ago. We sat in on the AGM and realised this needs our own time and effort to effect change. A good number of us write for the Fosse Way (which has been heavily critical of the club/even the trust itself). It’s the turmoil which has caused people to unite as well as the timing of recent fan group forums.

Equally though this is why ‘you’ve gotta be in it to win it’. Early reports are clubs are using these boards as puppet opinion devices.

Exactly. Hence first port of call is to increase membership and drive the numbers up. If the foxes trust doesn’t have clout with the club, it’s the first port call with the local press on fan issues and that’s going to extend beyond local press over the coming weeks isn’t it? There’s ways to improve it and it needs the fresh impetus of further opinions/voices.

I take your point but ultimately you have to be within the organisation as a member to change it. To give you an idea, the board lost two members at the last election/AGM and no one put their hand up to replace them. We either engage in it to change it or just let it idle on. The way of making the trust stronger is to get more numbers, louder voice and representative of the fanbase as a whole. One of the net gains this season was an occasion where Union FS and Foxes Trust worked together on the general sale point

It was 330 a month ago. We are aware there was 65 new members as of last Monday.

Worth mentioning as well there is an end of season survey coming for the members. This is pointed out at the AGM, so perfect chance to get that opinion out.

This will come with time. The trust is a democracy with the frame of its guidelines. You have your voice and your chance to highlight this.
