  1. Same here and that’s just three park runs done. 5k for some is speedy. So I don’t see the harm in just doing waves with a two minute gap The bunching I don’t have an issue with on long distance races - in fact you can use it too your advantage (pace setting - markers). I can just see an incident occurring where an older person gets barrelled over or similar.
  2. I had a debate with a Bristol fan post match about that. ‘Who do you think you are?’
  3. He was a sub. And he had a 36 yr old selected in front of him
  4. Must have personally lost it four/five times with him on Friday. A bumbling mess
  5. I ran Bristol’s Ashton Court park run yesterday. 2.6km of pure climb! 104m elevation and the last section is interesting mix of mud and gravel. Obviously what comes up must come down, so recovered to 25:14 but I wasn’t half regretting it after having a skinful the day before. Interested to hear what park runners think of the bunching at the start. I’ve done three events - 300 runners and two with 400 runners. All three felt a bit dangerous to start. I think they need to consider waves which slightly goes against the ethos but it’s needed to avoid a major incident
  6. The Chutney Ivy do going tits up would be superb
  7. The Beautiful Game A film what the word average was invented for.
  8. Norwich will score a banger. It’s what they do
  9. Bristol Manor Farm 2 Evesham 0 Pretty poor quality all around - funny little ground with a train track one side and this collection of stands running along the sidelines. Fair play to both sets of supporters who were loud
  10. H&C always been the king for me in Brum for it Indian Brewery - different grub but is very good too
  11. Yesterdays line up was Orchard Inn Wiper and True IPA + Somerset Session Cider Navy Volunteer 2x Hazy Janey Kings Head (what a brilliant place this was) good chemistry Bristol cider Stags and Hounds (eaten with a Fattso burger) half of a Thatchers Swan with Two Necks (right back street boozer but a line up of beer better than any pub in Leicester) Deya Steady Rolling Man Folk were sound as well
  12. That’s my take as well after yesterdays session, particularly for outright pubs
  13. He didn’t get any more positive either bar a murmur with Boro equaliser
  14. The fans reaction is the manifestation of the last few years. In another circumstance, we’d have united. When the financial results come out next week, it will click for others too.
  15. That was 4am wake up, so pretty much yeah
  16. You imagine if you were Bristol City manager or a defender yesterday. You’d be thinking all the way through the second half he’s going to change it, he’s got to put a second striker on, he’s got to start overlapping with the wingers. Nothing. You’d come away thinking he’s only got where he has because of the Man City link.
  17. The team plays in two units. The CDM is on an absolute hiding to nothing when he moves up the pitch. Wingers lose the ball and bang it’s 3 on 3, counter attack
  18. More troubling is the lack of movement off the ball to help a team mate out. Wingers put into dead ends with no help. Striker left isolated. Situations in defence where Fatawu ends up right back and one of the centre backs becomes in a 1 on 1. The defensive shape is ghastly
  19. I’m back up and I’m blaming the cider
  20. Fair ****s Ipswich. Make everyone look like nobs again.
  21. Not broke. Broke in the constraints of the game
  22. Never trust a man who dyes his beard
  23. I agree. You’d think sending down one of the strongest squads in the PL would make some realisation occur. Will looking like twats financially and in the championship change it? Who knows? I suspect the decision really lies deep deep down in the strategists of people who support the king in Thailand
  24. Tbf the effects of not going up are hardly promising for the biggest outpouring most folk have
  25. Every Leicester fan I’ve spoken to Bristol today said ‘we’ve ****ed it’. Sums up it. There’s a nagging thing in me what says in the long run maybe it’s what we need. The medicine has to go down.
