The difficulty is that ITV and BBC have to substantiate their expenditure with audience. Harsh reality is those non PL games don’t get the audience numbers. Which in turn means they might pay less for the coverage in future and when a lower league team does get a decent draw, they get a lower amount. Also fans of the National League aides, certainly the big ones, have said it puts the games on at awkward kick off times which actually hurts them when it comes everything else including policing bills

I heard a radio 4 report today of a border crisis from Mexico to the US currently. It absolutely blew my mind that one of the migrants was from Afghanistan who been smuggled into Central America and spent 50 days get thru it to Mexico and then finally the US.
