Last longer than expected at Morecambe, maybe wrong club at the wrong time. Maybe lower non league would have been better to start someone like a Barwell who will give him the time to build plus I can imagine he'd have a lot of contacts in Leicestershire to bring in some decent players.

Rudkin likes a manager he can control and wont make too many demands to the board. Perhaps explain why so many decent manager have turned us down. BBC RL pretty much said Pearson wouldn't fit Rudkins criteria.

Ive met Carsley a few times at Nuneaton Boro as his son plays for them. Nice, quiet bloke usually. From what i gather and this was many months ago he just loves his job as England under 21s manager and would need a really convincing opportunity to get him away.
