Just been out for lunch and the sun was out but its soooo cold! Then there was a slight sprinkle of "snow" - but not enough to call it a fall. Can't wait until the summer now and I hope we get some serious heat our way!

HELP is at hand for General PC queries, not Foxestalk ones

You can but its a bit off hassle. You will probably have to pop the keyboard open and then check the connection. something you should only do if you know what you are doing. It could be worth looking on Google to see if there are any guides on how to do it if you're feeling brave - otherwise ring Dell and give them hassle! -

Not necessarily - they are just more common on your mac's! If you have a firewire port then I would suggest getting a Portable HD which has a firewire port too because the data transfer times are quicker! Although if you are only transferring files every now and then, then its no biggy! Also, you will be paying more for firewire in general! You can get about 250GB for around £30-£40 now. I would def recommend Western Digital - can't go wrong. Amazon and overclockers always seem to have good deals on! -
This is the first time I can remember where we have had at least 2 big falls/cold snaps in one year (Feb time 2009 and Xmas 09/New Year) so its def becomming a lot more regular. Its snowed a heck of a lot here last night and had to walk to work in about a ft deep of snow in Reading centre and its still falling as I speak!

Yes! I've had it for 6 months now and its a really good phone. Since I've been using it, 4 or 5 mates of mine have seen it and now got one. It does the stuff you expect from a phone and because you have the internet too its a dream. Orange has awesome coverage - I was on the train today and was still able to browse the web etc. Can't complain. The only thing which does take time to get used to is the touch screen when texting. But with a lot of choice on the keyboard layout and the stylus, you get used to it pretty quickly. The Ovi store is pretty good and search on Google can getyou a lot more other apps. Mainly though, I use Google Maps (which acts as a Sat Nav too!), Facebook, Google Mail and I also browse the web with Opera Mini. Good choice of phone and the contract isn't bad either. I get 450 mins XNetwork, Unlimited Landline calls, 500 texts, and the internet 500MB for £25 but I have been with Orange for just under 5 years now and was on Band 1 for a while!

Could be that you have activated Sticky keys. Try pressing the shift key quickly 5 times to see if you can disable it. -
I'm glad its not snowing a lot. I've got a long drive to Edinburgh tomorrow and don't really want a battle with the ice/snow most of the way! It's bad enough in Scotland itself, so I could do with the M6 or the A1 being clear all the way! (Along with Leicester/Sheff for my pickups!)

If you have a connection at the back which is slightly wider than the normal VGA (it should also be white) then it can support Digital. Never use both VGA and DVI at the same time unless the monitor can support switching which not many do. These links might help... Images http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Video_Interactive -

I got an upgrade with Orange not so long ago and got free tinternet, 400 mins, free land line calls and 450 texts fro £25, oh and a Nokia 5800! Top stuff if you ask me!

Decorated my room, went to look for furniture but didn't see much my wallet could take a beating for, travelled back to Reading and ironed my shirts for another week at work (altho only a 4 day week and also includes watching City!!!)!

I say put your money where you mouth is!

If you were with Orange about 2/3 months back then yeah. And there is also this but not sure if its even gonna be possible to break from the TMobile contract. Its also very unlikely stores like Phones4u will buy out contracts "very" early either. (how early is very early?) So in brief - no.

Not here are home but there are quite a few in my flat in Reading where I work! Annoying little things - they fly around everytime you try and go near one!
