I imagine day nurseries and childcare facilities etc are struggling, trying to keep small children entertained and focused as well as looking after their needs and making sure they're safe in this heat must be a challenge. The same for those working in care homes, with vulnerable elderly residents and mostly with no aircon.

I'm retired so I do a fair bit of arse sitting and I can tell you I don't find the heat pleasant. Can't go out, can't do any physical tasks, can't walk the dog.
