  1. Does that mean you want a very long and flexible neck? Like an ostrich, maybe,
  2. I don't mine will be. The boiler is in the garage mounted on an external wall. I have looked for where it might be leaking from but there's no sign other than the dripping pipe outside which is the exit for water when the PRV opens.
  3. My dad made me go for accordion lessons when I was about 12. I have no idea why. I found it the most difficult instrument to learn. I still have the accordion in the loft.
  4. For me it would be to speak and sing in fluent Italian. A La Andrea Bocelli. (His voice gets to me every time I hear him especially after his visit to KP). Italian is such a beautiful language. It's seductive, intriguing and melodic. The women I could attract...
  5. DON'T EVEN GO THERE!!!! And I don't mean central Europe. Although I do know one and he's OK
  6. I called weight watchers yesterday. Me: Help it's an emergency, please can you send somebody round. Them: yes, of course. We have loads of them.
  7. The wife: "Oh no, I cant get my joggers off" Me: Okay, looks like I'm going to have to perform an emergency trackybottomy
  8. I suffer from a morbid fear of giants. It's called FeeFiephobia
  9. Thanks. I took a look and I wouldn't have attempted it. Our old boiler, which we replaced several years ago, I could just lift the cover off the retainer brackets. This one seems to have fixings I couldn't even locate. Anyway. I am pretty confident it's a pressure relief fault of some sort as the outside pipe is dripping water and the gauge drops below the 1.0 bar on the dial, hot water cuts off until I repressurise the boiler, Rinse and repeat until I get it sorted.
  10. Now watched Newsnight and maybe there is an underlying tactic in the sycophantic tone
  11. It's fairly clear that he is the perpetrator but there's a lack of real proof
  12. It's like giving a big bully your lunch in the hope they'll stop because you show you're scared of them
  13. Watching the sycophantic welcome to trump on the news and I'm sickened. Why all that opulence and grandeur and so many at a feast. It's disgusting and shows us the country as simple lapdogs and further reinforces trumps psychopathic traits. I'm disappointed that this country has bent to the knee of a paranoid narcissitic psychopath. I get the need for US/UK diplomacy but it doesn't need to be so ott. I know Trump must have absolutely loved it. And that makes me feel worse about it all.
  14. Omg . Thanks That’s way beyond my capabilities but I'll use it to help a heating engineer if needed. I really appreciate your help. Thank you 👍

  16. Again, thanks for your and help and Mr Foxes. I'll take a look but it seems I might have to take the boiler casing off. Anyway I'll give it a go before I commit to bringing in a possibly expensive professional.
  17. Thanks Deb. It's (obviously) dark now but I'll look for it tomorrow. Can you ask is there a sequence: do I bag the PRV then open the valves to the boiler to increase the pressure then take the bag off?
  18. You're not the only one and in afterthought, I don't even know why.
  19. This makes sense and I hadn't really thought about that aspect having read the article. Proven beyond all reasonable doubt is the only way. I understand now why the Scottish "not proven" is faulty and why that would not give closure. That said, the Timothy Evans case shows how flawed the system can be even though that was decades ago and I accept things have moved on. Edit: also why I cannot ever support the death penalty
  20. And there's the rub. The challenges are legal. Until they go through a lengthy process of bringing about a change in the law through Parliament to make them illegal, which is never going to happen.
  21. Does anyone know how to fix or reset an F1 low pressure fault on a combi boiler? The pressure keeps dropping and the F1 fault comes up. There's no signs of a leak from anywhere in the system that I can find, but I need to top up the water pressure daily. I did notice the pressure gauge was showing high when the boiler first cut out but then seemed to return to normal. I can't really afford an expensive resolution so hopefully there's a simple and easy solution.
  22. Maybe you need to assess the benefits of being part of the Commonwealth?
  23. "Its supporters argue that it reduces the risk of wrongful conviction – but critics say the verdict is confusing and fails to provide closure for victims". Is the closure for victims more important than a wrongful conviction? What if the person on trial was wrongly convicted and sentenced, and then several years later pardoned. How would that affect closure? If it's not proven then there's surely an element of doubt, but then could the judge decide on the balance of probabilities? Could that still result in a wrongful conviction? Potentially, I suppose.
