Also thankfully, they seem to have dropped the irritating, self-congratulatory klaxon thing when they arrive on time. And on the subject of air travel, I don't understand the round of applause that occurs among passengers, when the plane lands. Would you applaud your bus driver for getting you to Charles St without chucking the bus about?

Wasn't the creation of NHS Trusts meant to stop reckless spending?

They don't. Lactose is a fatty substance and would ruin any wine. What is produced as a part of the fermentation process is actually lactic acid. Completely different from lactose. Just ****ing google it, people. Maybe I'm taking it too far now, sorry
-
Just to reassure you: Wine doesn't contain lactose. Malolactic fermentation is a secondary fermentation that occurs in most wines. It is a natural process that converts malic acid into lactic acid, which can add complexity to whites and soften reds. But lactic acid is different than lactose, so no need for concern. Breast milk contains lactose. Maybe you should review your supplier?

Let us never forget this. Pearson (with his players) would never have won us the PL.

Clearly a conflict between him and the arrogant dwarf. Shackles off, criticism gone, boost in confidence under EM, allowed to play his game and we see a different player. And we're starting to appreciate him more.

Time to get over him, like a long term love. It's not easy and there's always going to be emotional memories. But we have to move on and be grateful for the good times and find a new love... For me that was Claudio. Then that love started to turn sour and I had to accept he wasn't "the one" after all. After a few blind dates that turned out to be unreliable, one came into my life as a real hopeful, only to let me down at the last minute by being stubborn and arrogant. A trait I don't like. Between then and now, there was a potential suitor but I always felt it wasn't going to last. When it ended, I was quite relieved. Then I met my new love. So far it's been emotionally engaging and quite exciting. I hope it lasts.

Is this actually a lover's tiff?

When's the trial, then?

Mmmm. Positives so far and I don't want to piss on anyone's chips, but what concerns me are the almost indisputable stats that suggest that teams that get promoted to the PL are equally as likely to get relegated. I just hope we have the wherewithal to not be one of those teams.

Girl found dead at hospital was let down by care staff, inquest finds - Leicestershire Live (leicestermercury.co.uk) This makes me very sad and very, very angry, having a daughter who has been through the MH system and has been badly let down. The experiences I have had both professionally, and what I have seen during her times in MH wards and secure units leaves me in no doubt this girls death was preventable. My daughter saw the body of a girl in the next room to her whom she had befriended. She had hung herself. My daughter had tried several times to bring attention to staff, as the girl had repeatedly told my daughter what she intended to do. There seemed to be very little intervention although I wasn't there, so I don't know the sequence of events. We know, don't we, that MH care is in dire straits and is seriously underfunded and is always the Cinderella service of the NHS when it should absolutely be a priority of care. There's A&E for medical emergencies. Why not an equivalent for mental health emergencies? Lives are being lost unnecessarily. It's a scandal and no-one in Gov is addressing it.

City of Leicester & Leicestershire - The Good and Historical Stuff

Number 3 looks like he's disguised himself as Robert de Niro. -
Rick Astley is much underrated by the music public. Mainly because he's a product of Stock, Aitken, Waterman. He's a multi talented musician in his right and can play a number of instruments besides the guitar or piano.

Who's going? What are you looking forward to the most? And in a kind of "post match" response, let us know how it was.

There have been lots of posts about driving and travelling gripes, I thought we could have a special place to bellyache about the travel experiences. Today and for the umpteenth time I had a conflict with a driver who failed to indicate her intentions while negotiating a roundabout meaning I was halfway out when she came round to take the exit after mine. I assumed that, because she was positioned in such a way and was not indicating her intention, that she was going straight on, i.e. taking the exit before mine. I was driving an artic and once commited it.s not easy to abort when 20 feet of truck is already across the road. She she had to brake and was honking like a demented woman and throwing the usual hand gestures as if it was my fault. It only take a bit of thought and consideration and application of decent driving standards.
