I haven't been following the case or media reports that closely, but this is something I didn't know.

But none of us knows his true life history. Or the reasons why he became this person. I'm not defending his actions, more like trying to think beyond the event and what he was experiencing at the time.

I use it fairly often and it seems drivers treat it like a motorway without recognising there are minor junctions and right/left turns along the length of it. It's a nasty road and needs things like static speed cameras as well as high profile warning signs ahead of junctions.

Was it ever challenged that the "rage" had a reason, such as PTSD? I'm not defending his actions but I'm questioning the back story. There seems to be something amiss. I think there'll be an appeal.

Why wasn't the ex-veteran PTSD used either, unless it couldn't be proven to be a factor I guess.

3 weeks later, Liam is still in QMC head injury ICU. He was taken back to theatre a few days ago as he had a further bleed on his brain and is still on an on demand ventilator and now has a tracheotomy in place. His responses are minimal and haven't really improved in any noticeable way. The phrase "giving someone a good kicking" makes me feel sick when you see the consequences.

Would you celebrate/be happy/proud if they did? I think I already know the answer.

I didn't say Hazard won us the title but when that goal went in it made Spurs third and us champions and the collective celebrations in the pub were so joyous and emotional. Jeez. Way to deflate my feelings.

This. Totally. Both are a negative, rancid pair that clearly bring their fellow players down and seem to dictate the anti-MC feelings in the squad because they personally don't like him. They don't care that it's about the team. For them, it's all about them. I can't bear the thought of either of them playing for us again and I hope MC feels the same.

I thought the whole team looked much more together after the final whistle. I know it was a good win but they seemed more "complete" if that makes sense? I guess the negativity created by cry baby Winks and "I'm better than this" Faes has been negated by dropping them. Let's hope they don't even make the bench and if they do, that's where they stay.

Well, yes it was a wonder goal that deserves great credit. However in terms of overall performance throughout the match, it's between James and Skippy as MOTM for me.

TBF Asda don't have a "loyalty card" as such any more. They have the roll-back scheme where prices are "lowered" on selected products but shoppers still don't know what the heck is going on. At least their customer isn't being individually tracked.

We got our first dog 6 months ago and now we're taking him out for walks in both local and different places further afield, I've been astonished by the amount of dog crap that's not picked up. Or bags chucked in hedges and undergrowth. It seems to be worse in the bigger parks and open areas. If someone is a dog lover, you'd think they'd be more responsible and considerate of other people, dog owners or not. I'd hate to think I'd left a deposit from my dog for someone else to have to encounter.

All clubcard/loyalty schemes are a scam. I hate them all but I go along with it because I don't want to pay the inflated price. And that's how they get you and how they then harvest your shopping habits. It's bordering on legalised blackmail.
