We were ****ing rancid for most of that game. I was a miserable **** but went berserk for the equaliser. Also I’m the first to moan about our support, but I thought our end was good today. It would’ve been easy to have a meltdown at 1-0, but we stuck with them. At the time I thought Ipswich fans had a ****ing cheek to boo the referee off. He was appalling, mostly in their favour but I’ve just seen the Chaplin incident back. That’s a penalty and we’ve got away with it.

I think timing is important and it’s resulted in a disastrously tinpot fanbase for us. We had our greatest ever era on the back of ****ing clappers being ever present. This season will mark 10 ****ing years of them being here. A whole generation of kids being brought up on: A) unable to get tickets with likeminded mates as our stadium is always full B) thinking that banging clappers and dancing to goal music is the way to support your team. A lot of these new ish grounds with good home atmospheres (Middlesbrough, Coventry, Hull, Derby) are off the back of bleak periods in which fans have been able to create themselves an “end” and let things grow organically.

It’s mad how one catchy song can dictate our fans. The Albania song saved our support in 2022. Then We Love You took off in the relegation season. Last year had so many topical chants that revolved around Enzo/promotion. We’re really thin. Mind you our fanbase is broken to the point that I can’t imagine anything fresh catching on. The Buonanotte chant that was posted is an absolute banger, but I’d be amazed if it took off.

Post of the year for me. Fed up with our dogshit fans. Honestly need to hang our heads in shame. So many fans give it big licks about how much they hate Forest. The levels from their support compared to ours was chalk and cheese.
