Only thing if the news about trying to get gill too they are trying to put an actual team in place. They haven’t really done that since Enzo(maybe cooper actually).
Might be the wrong team but hey.
One thing though, as much as I don’t want him, I will not get on his back straight the way. Trouble is if we don’t have a flying start it will be even more toxic.
this has been inevitable since we 1st got linked 4/5 years ago I think.
@ClaphamFox I am still hoping you are right!!

The season after he left MK Dons they nearly got automatic promotion after he'd only got them as high as about 15th.
He inherited a Steve Cooper Swansea side who'd been in the playoffs 2 seasons on the spin and finished 15th.
THE PITS
Worse than coops you say. Ideal.

That and Ayew. He brings the best news!

I think there maybe something in the Challinor chat.

The amazing blocks he does are usually because he’s given the ball away. Often loses runners and last ditch tackles are because of that.
Time to move on for him and the club.

Whatever got Chansiri out is what will hopefully save us.
I definitely don't support this club under this owner. It's as soulless as if we were owned by Red Bull.
It would probably be better ran.

Surely its straightforward about the levels we need to play.
- Maybe a national league side
- One on a tour somewhere (Austria I believe?)
- Then a couple of league 2 sides (ideally ones that have just be relegated from League 1)
- Then a Championship side
Not about glamour its about getting the prep right.

Thelin would make sense as we were in for him in Jan. Maybe thought Rowett was abetter choice to keep us up.
-
What I think is the issue with Martin, Is they know the fan don't want him. Some people in the club do want him.
Those people in the club will be saying, well if we appointed him last summer blah, blah, blah.
That or we don't have a scooby doo who we are going to appoint.
I know it was like this last summer, but we all knew that was PSR, or at leas we thought it was. This time its just totally inept or the financial situation is close to catastrophic, and it'll get even worse before it gets any better.
-
Rowett must be under consideration else you’d have thought they’d have at least said the standard. Thank you if your efforts etc…

10 years ago Karl Robinson was very up and coming in lower league and I remember him being talked about on potentially going on to bigger things.Never Happened for him. Been treated slightly harsh Salford though, one result aay from Automatic promotions. they were poor in the the play off final though.
Don't want him here mind you.

Just popped up on my notifications for the lcfc app. Sorry but it looks like Ayew is staying
Several of our players are set to represent their countries at this summer’s FIFA World Cup as 48 teams search for glory.-
Harry Souttar named in Australia’s squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Finals
-
Abdul Fatawu and Jordan Ayew have been included for Ghana
-
Bilal El Khannouss is in Morocco's 26-man roster
-
The tournament group stage gets started next week
He's still a Leicester player until end of june I guess. But didn't Bilal sign for Stuttgart already?
Almost everything the club is doing seems like an absolute mess. They don't seem to be able to get anything right at the minute.

In January I think?

We've heard it's David Wagner. I work for a well-known sports broadcaster and Wagner fits because a) Out of Work so no compensation and b) Did a good job at Huddersfield and Norwich working on a shoestring budget.
The only other one we've heard is interesting you is Alex Revell at Stevenage.
I’ve read this a couple of times and have had a busy day. So we are interested in both of those or Wagner is somewhere else.

To be fair, he didn't say the few rumours were anything to do with the take over.

New trend not to have one.
We played like we didn't have one most if the last 2 seasons.

I'm trying to comfort myself with the thought that the longer it drags on, the less likely it is to be one of the free agents we've been linked with, such as Martin. I realise my logic is not flawless.
More I think, I worry more that bigger things are a foot within the club, which might be negative for the next season or so, then maybe better. Might be wrong.

Liverpool already having talks with Iraola days after slot went. Our owners are playing with each others balls until the beginning of August. What a shit mess our club is in!
Its easier to attract a manager to Liverpool than our sorry state. But I agree with your point it all takes too long.

I would probably take Scott Parker, its uninspiring but hed likely take us up and stabilise us a bit. Of the names being batted around I would be ok with
Parker
Gerrard
Challinor
Robins
Less so Martin, Ferguson or Rowett
On the fence about Fuchs or Neil Lennon.
I am not sure there is much else out there unless mccarron is given more power and we get a left field candidate
I wonder if the left field appointment could be Johnson or Neilson From Lommel.

Hasn't been vaguely linked to us, neither has anyone I guess really.
People mentioned him last summer, I think would be a good choice.
Odds on to go the Blackburn.

League One - Who manages us?

True, but advanced talks makes me think it’s close.
