Dick Schreuder - 16/1

Him risking is legacy and reputation. That’s up to him really. If he has the chance of the job, he might jump at it as he may feel it could be his only opportunity he might get it.

Great pod, 100% up for doing the Leicester half for Lamp. Doing the great north run the month before so hopefully my 47 year old legs hold up.

Definitely not for me. He’s just a bit weird for my liking. Great left back, but an odd character.
Kept Newport up, but only just. This wasn’t any Brian Little like lower league achievement.
Jose and other good managers are a bit weird too.
That said I’m not sure he’s the right choice and it would kinda show we are not trying to reset and make things better. As would t be on anyone’s radar if he didn’t play for us once. Same with wellens too.

I wish Alan Nixon would shut the fvck up. A genuinely terrible journalist that gets 99% of stuff wrong about us, and has done for a while.
Why are all the articles/links/rumours right now all from him? Have we been relegated into the shit tier of journalists too?
‘Reluctantnicko’
What’s the rumour today? As people say he’s got a few big things right with us over the last couple of years.

Only watch 1st half. soutter good, page grew into the game, monga flashes of ability.

Wouldn’t even be thinking about him if he wasn’t associated with us.
that said, doesn’t mean he wouldn’t be good, but a massive risk.
Would need an experienced head with him.

Well at least we can now say it was boardroom malpractice that sent us down. Imagine if this horrible lot had kept us up by a point...
Trouble is these fools will see we are down because of the -6 points and try to blame the league.

Completely agree.
The only reason Enzo was under consideration was because Southampton were supposedly interested in him earlier in the season.
We don’t think outside the box.
That said you’d hope mcarron has a few different ideas.
-
Only way it changes is luck rather than judgement from the owners. That they pick an Enzo rather than a Marti. And they stick around for a 3/4 years.

Just remembered his winner against Man City too. Fantastic goal.

Sad how this season went, but that 1st full season under Brendan he was phenomenal.
And that moment at PSV is still up there with my best Leicester moments ever!!
Seemed like one of the good guys.

We all want this to be sorted ASAP, but realistically we might be looking at the end of may at least unless the person is already out of work, as european leagues will go on until weekend of 24th and I believe play offs happen that weekend too. Challenor for example, might be not interested in chatting as he might be in the division above us.
I know these lot taking their time doesn't equal good decisions, but we also don't want them to rush and make just as bad decisions.
Enzo was mid June, As was Pearson all those years ago. Main thing is its not Mid July and we've not signed a manger or any players yet.
No Idea about realistic candidates. But people might see us as an ideal place to build something, assuming its not too bad in the background and they have their hand tied.

Odds changed said this in the other thread. Chris Davies odds have come in. But doesn’t mean anything
-
Ferguson odds have started to fall back again, but Chris Davies odds of come in. Means nothing in a small betting market.
Though I can 100% see Davies being who we go for.
-
Rather keep rowett that have Darren Ferguson. That’s this years preki surely.
-
Think before xmas he had every intention to stay but not in League 1.
-
I might be wrong, but did Parker not get offered the Job before Enzo?

So far this season:
We're relegated to League One
Coventry promoted to the Prem as Champions
What could potentially happen:
Forest win Europa League
Derby get promoted to the Prem via the play-offs
LCFC Women get relegated
I guess the main positives would be that those 3 things might not happen?
Positives from that. Cov and Derby battle it out to beat Derbys Record in the Prem next season?
-
Thing is despite being at probably our lowest ebb, we are a big club, bigger than the last time we were in league 1.
We might be a mess, but if there is even the slight chance for someone to build something here, they might just decide to take a chance.

This could be his agent saying that he looking to move, using our name as its a big story that we have got relegated.
Though maybe they have had a whisper that he'd be interested.

Can this be heard somewhere? BBC Sounds? Can't find it.
Searched Leicester city, it took a bit of scrolling but in there. Starts with them talking about arsenal so seems like you’re on the wrong one at 1st.
