I guess we are still seen as a big club, he might see it as an opportunity to create some history.
-
If Davies leaves Brum we'll be looking at him.
I think I'd prefer Martin over him, but not sure to be honest. Don't really want either.
Actually update here, they are 10th so not bad for a newly promoted team but they have spent money.
-
Carsley I would be on board with. Be surprised if he wanted it.

Wasn't there a rumour on here that he was pretty much going to get the job last summer and they went back on it because of fan reaction?

I'll be very surprised if it's Martin.
We have this conversation so often, shows how badly the club is ran.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it is. If he wants it I think they’ll club will see it as a big coup. Nothing would surprise me.
If it is him and soon, at least they’ll have been more decisive this time. No the right decision but hey.

Marink Reedijk, when looking at lommel noticed this guys team top with 88 points. Know nothing about him and the team. But hey.
-
For context, Pearson in League one was appointed 20th June and I think Enzo 16th June.

Which obviously meant that they couldnt start looking for candidates.
It took far too long to appoint Marti.
Takes them far too long to do anything, I'd accept it to some extent if they take their time and get it right. but they don't.

Dean Smith is returning i think, how would fans feel about that considering what happened last time?
I wouldn’t be surprised by this, not my choice but I guess it could be worse. But what do I know that was what I though about Rowett

RVN was on a long term contract and we had to wait until 1 July to sack him for PSR reasons. Rowett’s contract ends after we play Blackburn.
I think they’ll just do a thank Gary for his efforts on Sunday.

If Martin wants it, I think he’ll get it.

Indeed. This is arguably the most important managerial appointment in our history. We need to do everything we can to get the best candidate—sentiment should play no part whatsoever in it.
We need a McKenna type appointment. Ipswich version of what Pearson did really.
Obviously not Mckenna, but Sunderland got it wrong 2 or 3 times. If you get the appointment right that is a chance of building, though if the financial situation is as bad as I fear it might not matter.

Richie Wellens - knows the league...
Rowett knew the Championship?
Orient could easily go down this year. Like Fuchs not sure he would even be mentioned if he didn't have a link to the club.
I would love it to be someone on the up, who hasn't really failed already. But I know that is probably unlikely.

I live 50 miles away and by the time I get to the ground its about an hour and a half trip. Its sunny and I live near a nice pub, with a nice garden, I might just go there instead?

Will be the same as Max Dowman at Arsenal
Sure that is exactly what it said about Monga.
I think if we get an offer of £10million plus he will be gone. We'll just need the cash.

Let's look at the positives at least it wont be Russell Martin 😂
We don't 100% know that. But I wouldn't have thought he'd want a League 1 job.

League One - Who manages us?

Yep agree, though you hope McCarron has a bit of an idea and more contact and open to change.
