You don't seriously think we are that clever, surely ? We will stumble around for another week, nobody will make decision until it finally dawns on them that RVN has actually left the club. The Circus continues.

Zim rarely play against the 'better' cricketing nations, especially at Test level, due to politics & the fact that they aren't that competitive at that level. Mulder's achievement is amazing, but it has to taken in context too. -

He has said the record should remain with a legend of the game. His coach also put the idea into his head. It's on BBC sport. -

I get it that Stokes & England prefer to chase, but sometimes put the opposition under pressure by getting a big score batting 1st, especially if the conditions & wicket dictate so. Also, Bashir & any other English spinner never get to bowl on a 4th innings track. Are we too one dimensional ? -

......Because we don't do draws, we aren't chasing 600 & India are good. I Admire your optimism, but we rarely do Bazball & read a match situation together. If we win l will get back to you. -
I think Harborough will give it a real go this season. Brought in 3 or 4 very good players, kept the core of last season’s squad too.

Crawley is so frustrating. Plays one way, gets out in the same way. We can’t win this, so park the 'l must drive at every ball & play the same way' arrogant attitude. I know England score very quickly, but we rarely bat for 90 overs, our bowlers must be knackered, they’re never fully rested before they’re back in the field. -

That's true to a degree, but this pitch is a feather bed, that's why India will set a target of about 550. -

Bazball with brains is definitely the way forward. Not a chance we regain The Ashes, or beat good Test sides if it’s just thoughtless slogging. -
........Craig David, eat your heart out

Isn't it because the seam is much flatter, meaning much less movement off the seam itself ?

This squad has zero backbone, or any resemblance to such a thing. Last season proved that. With players such as Faes involved & the loss of Vardy, l expect little improvement in the 'roll over & tickle our tummy' department. It's just the fact that The Championship is light years away from The Prem in standard, that we may get into the play-offs & that depends on a probable points deduction.

....l imagine lots of decent manager's are struggling to get excited about Leicester City in fairness.

It's too early in my opinion. England are 1 up, l don't understand the hurry to play him yet. Test cricket is another level, mentally & more importantly for Archer, fitness wise. -
Went to The Cotswolds for the first time last summer. Some beautiful villages, stunning countryside etc. Definitely worth considering.

Headingley is known to be tricky regarding taking sharp catches. -
Given our recent laughable incompetence, yes to Dyche. Prior to this circus act, no to Dyche. Simple really.

Unfortunately TV has a schedule to abide by, so money probably comes into it. I agree in principle though, but not a lot will change sadly. -

He will go to Australia, he has pace & bounce & can bat. He should do ok down under. Woakes won't go in my opinion, even at his best, 80 mph in an Ashes series, away from home is more often than not, easy pickings. -

Saffers hot favourites now........but they have choked massively before, numerous times. -

Their batting lineup doesn't look as strong with Labuschagne opening & Green at 3. -
I'm sure our hierarchy truly believe Vanoli is a brand of ice cream, or a fancy liqueur.

Wasn't that impressed with Simpson. Put down twice, doesn't seem to carry much power. European is probably his peak.
-
Tiger's intensity is off the charts. Pollard is purring, so good to see his calming influence.

Archer could be available for the 2nd Test. Need him to have an injury free run now. Desperately need him & Wood (probably Stone too), for The Ashes. Archer & Wood won't manage all 5 Tests in Oz, so pace options needed.
