That approach hardly worked well post Maresca, a short term approach would be better appoint a manager that gets us promoted and then keep us up, and then look for a progressive manager with potential once we have stayed in the premier league.

Troy Parrott would probably command a fee in excess of £17m but he would be worth it imo.

Dyche would be fine at championship club level, and would do an okay job in the premier league he would keep us up imo anyway it’s baby steps again for us, after the complete incompetence from Top and co.

I would go with Carrick personally, he’s probably reached his limit at Boro and we can match or better his salary he plays football the right way, and would definitely integrate our young players more into the first team.
