The first three Star Wars films are still genuinely phenomenal - I think the Empire Strikes Back is one of the best films ever made. But weirdly, the cult of fandom that surrounds the franshise puts me off actively engaging with anything to do with it now, good or bad as it may be. I can't explain how I feel when I see he's continuing to play. It's not anger, not even confusion. I just feel genuinely disheartened, it's such a weird reaction and one I don't think I've ever had for a specific player.

The use of the word "spot" to describe pubs / bars / restaurants etc. It's definitely one that shouldn't annoy me as much as it does but I find it really jarring.

He's not great but he does well to get a word in edge ways when Fletcher assumes the mantle of both lead comms and expert opinion. He very rarely enquires or asks anything from McManaman (or whoever is his co comms), he simply, throughout the match, states his own opinions on how the game is unfolding as if he's the ex pro, and turns to the co comms for validation on his own thoughts. It's infuriating.

Binning away goals really has set the knockouts of this alight the past few years. I've always enjoyed them but it really has been phenomenal since 2021.
