  1. I love the thought of some Cardiff fan typing match report into Google and ending up on here thinking wtf like it’s some creative writing contest on their match
  2. To be fair we’re looking at doing this during cold spells. £25 for a chair by the radiator though.
  3. There’s no basis. We didn’t breach psr for the last three years including the year we were in the champ so they can’t touch us there. And the prem are in arbitration regarding the other case were we played by their own rules as written, they can’t take action while the prem are looking into it, if the prem drop the case the efl might try to take it up but it would be on very shaky ground and would be subject to another legal challenge from us I’d assume. If we go down I suspect nothing happens.
  4. I hope one day someone can come up with a VR version so I can put on a headset and get back in there again.
  5. When we moved it would have been great if we built a new Filbert Street with carling stand and double decker but with a larger east and north stand.
  6. Probably turn up for the protest and be heading off to the pub after 10 minutes.
  7. Love the new thread title, should stop those moaning who come here for genuine updates.
  8. I can just see it now, 16:59 pm Friday afternoon. Rudkin has just put on his jacket said his goodbyes to the office staff when an email notification pops up on his laptop saying “we accept your offer, shall we proceed with the paperwork?” Friday is fish and chips which he picks up on the way home while his wife is buttering the bread and warming the plates, if he replies to the email he’s going to be late doing all the paperwork. He quickly looks around the room and no one is paying him any attention, so he shuts his laptop and says to himself that’ll it can wait until Monday while he has his first coffee of the day. Monday morning when he opens his laptop there are numerous emails asking if he wants to proceed until the last one which states that wolves have had a bid accepted, just then he looks up at the tv playing sky sports in the office and sees Wimmer holding up a wolves shirt. “****” he states, “how did they manage that, anyone would think they were working over the weekend”.
  9. I think sometimes it’s best reforming from within. If they formed a new group they’d be on the outside shouting, no line of communication with the club and the club would just ignore them as they’re not an official fan group. It will take time but I think reforming from within, though it will take time will be a lot quicker than forming a new group. As if foxinsocks is right and this time next year the reform group have a majority on the board then pressure can start to be applied to the club and the group will hold more weight. I wonder if a lot of the non voters are people who have been paying their subscription for years yet don’t bother beyond that, don’t open emails or follow what’s happening. If so that’s further proof of reform being needed as these people no longer feel engaged by the current set up.
  10. Yes, Izzet. That’s a great shout, there’s a lot of Muzzy about him. He’s just become my favourite player
  11. Just a reply to some of the slogans being mentioned in the Bobby Reid thread but thought I’d post them it in here. Maybe something like… “no vision, no structure, no clue. Rudkin out” As opposed to singling out players or possibly something that will cause offence to the wrong people.
  12. That just sounds silly though, however if they were from north Lincolnshire you could have a slogan that said “bunch of Scvnthorpes”
  13. Book a couple of rooms a few doors apart at the hotel and hang a banner from the windows.
  14. Credit to Bournemouth though, they’re looking a serious unit at the moment.
  15. I think project restart where always aiming at rudkin, just looked at their first post and they are calling for the hierarchy to make the change.
  16. Rudkins new tactic, getting players in with winning names. we are staying up said we are staying up
  17. I know one person that used to know him (coach) and he didn’t like him, said he belittled people. Never understood the feeling threatened by having people has good as or if not better than you, if you’ve put that team together you’re as much a part of the success as the people in the team. In part your skill is in identifying the people to make the company/department a success. It certainly makes your own job easier than fighting fires all the time.
  18. He is, maybe he should have stood down from his other jobs and focused on being a dof, got good people in around him and we wouldn’t be in this mess. But he hasn’t and as such should face the consequences of his failure.
  19. But is a wet loan really wet or does it just wet what it comes into contact with.
  20. Was also told that the sacking never happened, reporters overheard Vichai ranting about the result and mentioned sacking but it never happened. When the news broke it caught them cold as they didn’t know what was happening. Totaly agree, the crime was dismantling the set up that Pearson built when Rodgers was manager. That set up covered a lot of the ills that we’re seeing now. If Top had any sense he’d be working on bringing people in to make us a functioning football club again which would probably have a bigger impact than any budget signing we got in the next week or so. Enzo had discussions in the summer with the club about bringing more people in above him to assist those already there, the club agreed but he then left. Why didn’t the club restructure and put these people in place even though Enzo then left, surely they saw that it was needed, surely they can see that what they’re doing now isn’t working year after year and something needs to change. If they had put this into action they’d have probably avoided much of the reaction we're seeing now and if they had any sense they’d be working to get good football people in now to start the restructuring process as it’s only going one way otherwise. Their internal review should have highlighted this, did the trust ever ask for the results of that review?
  21. I was told that the idea was that Top would run them to gain experience for eventually taking over from Vichai here. Unfortunately Top had to take over here a lot sooner than planned after his father’s death.
  22. Unfortunately I think you're right. Swindon got relegated years ago while spurs got away with similar a few years before.
  23. I keep seeing people saying the efl are going to hammer us next season if we go down but on what grounds? We’re still in arbitration with the premier league so they can’t touch us for that and we cleared psr for last season so can’t impose an embargo on us. Am I missing something?
