  1. What will happen though, the greedy six will drag the whole league over there then demand the lions share of the money because more fans will want to watch them than matches like Leicester v notts, or palace v wolves ect… Meaning all the smaller clubs will have all the hassle and disruption of something only ever put in place to benefit the greedy six, and all for a pittance in comparison.
  2. By Jove I’ve got it!!! Insert a release clause of say, £45m, into rudkins contract and then have Leuven come in and activate it. Everyone’s a winner. Except maybe Leuven. Sorry Leuven.
  3. Depending on how the season goes we may well be cheering them onto the pitch. May even come up with a supportive chant for them
  4. Maybe skmanuk is rudkin and the club are getting rid of him by stealth.
  5. Sounds like one of robin hoods merry men.
  6. Agree. Initially the premier league (premiership) was a jolt in the arm for a game that was on its knees after years of football hooliganism. But it ran without any controls and has become an out of control monster that has devoured the traditions of the game without any recourse.
  7. Cheaper match tickets/season tickets, grassroots, delivering more money further down the football pyramid. A lot of the changes that are/will ruin football like the 39th game European coefficients, esl are all driven by greed, to get more money in for the select few. If that money can’t be spent hopefully the drive won’t be there to endlessly seek revenue streams that are ruining the game for local and match going fans throughout the pyramid, and hopefully change the profile of those mega rich owners looking to take on a football club. Tax or levy clubs that bring in over a certain amount, limit what owners can take out of a club??? Essentially though, football is quickly moving away from being a meritocracy than ever before and it needs stopping, I don’t care about what they do with the extra revenue, give it to a donkey sanctuary but the money in the game and the desire to exploit it at all costs, however detrimental to the game it is, needs sorting.
  8. Hopefully this will be the changing of the tide, start with 4.5x the lowest revenue then in future years bring it down to 4, 3.5, and 3. Then start to bring in salary regulation's. The game is starting to run scared of a regulator forcing change so are trying to get their house in order first. Remove the need for massive wealth and hopefully you’ll remove a lot of the greed (unless owners start lining their own pockets, which again could be regulated against) and fans will start getting better deals on ticket prices ect. And if the greedy six don’t like it tell them where to go.
  9. It's why the game needs a purposeful regulator with teeth to stop the heart and soul of the game being ripped out by foreign billionaires with their own agenda.
  10. This is great, one of those pictures that you’ll find something new every time you look at it.
  11. It’s insane, I was told the £50m to get rid by someone who knows a few people at Seagrave but couldn’t get my head round the figure and that anyone would be stupid enough to agree such a deal so decided it was bullshit. When I saw the £30m figure I thought ****, it must have been true. Absolute incompetence.
  12. Innocently referring to notts forest as notts forest when talking to notts forest fans. Sometimes drop the forest and just call them notts. Childish but it amuses me when I can see it irritates them, especially if I get picked up on it, “oh right, sorry, forgot” then ten minutes later I’ll reply with something like “who have notts got this weekend”. I can’t help myself but it’s hilarious that it bothers them so much
  13. I was speaking to someone recently who as a relative in the academy and they were saying that the club don’t like loaning players out and block loan moves. Seems like madness as surely they’ll only benefit from playing first team football.
  14. Ha ha, possibly, the c word was being used.
  15. Quite loud, persistent and coarse towards him in L1 yesterday.
  16. Yes I agree, still made me laugh though 😂
  17. Good to see some managers still hang onto the old ways; Terriers boss Andre Breitenreiter has accepted his side are down and pointed to a low quality pre-season under predecessor Neil Warnock last summer as one of the key reasons for their struggles. "I heard about the really poor pre-season where players trained once a day and the focus was on playing golf and maybe staying in the pub," he told BBC Radio Leeds.
  18. Can’t wait for tomorrow, just remember there will most likely be queues to get in so give yourselves plenty of time.
  19. Tomorrow’s protest sorted then. 25th minute “£25, you’re having a laugh”, 26th minute all down to the concourse for a free cup of tap water 💦
  20. Just been to let’s party in Syston and got my balloons, come on Leicester, let’s turn it into a fiesta
  21. Let’s turn it into a Leicester Fiesta, plenty of balloons, ticker-tape and flags, it was great to see so many balloons, inflatables at preston. Our celebrations used to be famous, anyone at the Wembley finals in the 90’s will remember the thousands of balloons released when the players came out and how bright and lively it made our ends look. I’m sure a can remember Wembley staff reporting that we were the best support they’d seen at Wembley after one of the play off finals.
  22. Ah , hopefully not on tv as much meaning less disrupting kick off times.
  23. Never forgive him for his actions when they beat us in the mr clutch cup final at Wembley. Disgusting behaviour.
  24. Type Leicester City into your Google search bar
  25. Yes, saw a leeds fan complaining the other day that we haven’t been top of the form charts since game 9 I reckon they must of been using one and two game form guides at times. Thing is it’s the 46 game form that counts at the end of the season. (48 when they get knocked out the play offs) It wouldn’t surprise me to see them using the play off matches to claim they had more points than us
