It just shows how the rules are actually working in the opposite way to which they are sold to the fans. If you want a system to stop clubs spending too much and live within their means that's great. Surely in that case then a club holding out for, and receiving an extra £15m when selling an asset is only helping them to do that. They could have sold earlier and potentially not breached the rules, but that obviously then has a knock on effect to how competitive they can be moving forward. The rules are anticompetitive and the only purpose they really serve is to widen the gap between the top 6 and every single other club in the country.

I don't know think anyone has an issue with anyone saying we are not playing well, but a bit of perspective is required. In the first half we weren't playing amazingly, and yes we were losing but some of the posts in the match thread were pathetic and went far beyond a critique of our performance today
