I suppose the idea came from them losing half of their first 8 games?

Well VAR is only looking at important decisions, if more of them are correct post-VAR (and a reasonably substantial amount more) than pre-VAR then it's doing what it's intended to do.

I’m calling bullshit. In the past 20-odd years only a handful of clubs have hit 100 points in the Championship. No runner-up has had more than 93 in that period. If you genuinely thought there’d be 3-4 teams on 100+ points you’re as mental as the folks who put money on us winning the Prem at 5000-1.

Love the Camp Cope cover of Maps as well. Extremely late to the party here but... 1. Country Feedback 2. Nightswimming 3. Find the River 4. The One I Love 5. Carnival of Sorts (Box Cars)

Not used it before, but would recommend reaching out to the club before the game through the phone number or email here https://www.lcfc.com/news/3189615/autism-packs-available-at-king-power-stadium?lang=en

Oh gosh, apologies, I take it all back.

Liam Moore just said Stoke are a fallen giant and I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to breathe again

Called him a rapist, and Getafe have winged about it and insisted on a La Liga investigation.

Didn't expect to start liking Jude Bellingham today

So it's the Brexit ****wits, I knew it was them, even when it was Rudkin and the fax machine I knew it was them.

Why does he have a panda on his hand?

The thing about the Pearson lovers is we love managers who know what they're doing, improve our team and don't compromise their approach to appease the sea of stupidity in the crowd behind them at matches and in front of them at press conferences. Enzo is great.

It's football journalism in January, they definitely do fireless smoke.

What an awful take. Marc Albrighton not only played in almost every game as we won the Premier League, he scored our first ever Champions League goal, scored the winner against Seville in the round of 16, played 60-odd minutes of the FA Cup final win and has given his all in pretty much every game he's played for us over the course of a decade. Andy King was an important part of 3 title winning teams, from the lowest point in our history to the highest. If they're not club legends then I reckon you can only have about 3 club legends.

Weird decision, timing's a bit annoying.

Only 31 points above them now Edit: Oh my live table's a liar but you get the point

Gives the penalty because we’d appealed for a couple already. Gives that clear yellow a red because he gave the penalty. What a shambles.

We know, we all know.

It’s not a coincidence that we have by far the biggest wage budget in the Championship, are top of the league, and get talked about the most. The disparity between the richest and poorest clubs is not an exclusively Premier League problem, let’s not pretend it is just because we’re the obscenely rich successful side at this level.

Not drop points in loads of other games would help.

Has it though? According to that graphic 11 unique teams have been top in the last 31 years with 20 teams last achieving it in the 103 years before that? Obviously some of the 11 will also have achieved it in those prior years but it doesn't look like it was as diverse as I'd have expected it to be. Is there any easy source of pre-Premier League top at Christmas data so it can be broken up into 30 year chunks?
