How poor must Thomas be as I thought Faes was better at LB when he played there occasionally.

or change anything -
May as well stick with Daka and Ayew and give Evans a go if necessary. Do we go out and deliberately scout rubbish or just pull names out of a hat? I understand we are financially up the proverbial creek without a paddle, but first Carranza and now Dykes means we are just throwing what bit of money we have away.

Like the idea, but can't see Fatawu starting - he's played every game this season I think. Maybe Wanya or Silko on the wing instead? Maybe give James a rest too and stick Page next to Skipp -

Probably the same as you could hear once you switched off. Nothing from the team to get the crowd lifted or excited. -
Whether they have played in the Premier League is irrelevant if they are only putting in half hearted performances. This makes them poor team players who impact on the squad morale, confidence and consistency. Whilst I agree that there has been little improvement this season, I'm not sure any realistic managerial appointment could get a tune out of this squad as it stands at the moment. Marti talks about a high press and attacking options but the players who should be able to adopt this style don't seem to put the effort of application in.

He's injured, otherwise he'd have played no doubt.

When we lose to Derby, Little Bo Beep, as she lost her sheep.

It'll only be a good day for you later, if QPR win

I understand they are a big, physical side, which could be a problem for us as we tend to be easily bullied. If we take the lead I'm hopeful of a positive result, but if we go behind it maybe a different outcome.

Thought he did ok yesterday - no real major cock ups. Probably would have had a penalty with VAR. I don't think any ref is going to get 100% of decisions correct, particularly when some are borderline, and the antics of players doesn't help their cause. They only see things from the angle they are looking. I do agree though, there are some shocking refs in the championship
-
I'm 95% against this, but we have signed some decent old timers in the past who did ok on a short term basis. Cottee, Speedie and Phillips for example, but I appreciate these hadn't had a seriously bad injury prior to joining us.

But at least he puts a shift in, which is more than you can say for Ayew or Carranza. Yes, he's very limited, but of the 3 strikers, we tend to do better as a team when he plays. He also get's into the box, again something the other two fail to do.
-
I think the realisation now is that many of our squad are average players, with a couple maybe lower Premier League quality. If we accept this, then the next best thing we can hope for is 100% commitment and that 'Foxes never quit' attitude. In that sense, I don't think you can fault Daka.
-
Yep, clever finish - clips it over the keeper.
-
But would you play Skipp, Soumare, Choudhury ahead of him.
-
Making a change after a handful of games last season made F all difference. Can't think of anyone half decent who would come to this toxic environment at the moment and have a meaningful impact.
-
When you get your chance to show you should be the main striker, at least put the effort in and do everything you can to impress the manager and crowd. Thought he looked distinctly poor and whilst Daka is also poor, he does at least put the effort in.
-
So why aren't you a professional football manager - great salary?

Jakub Okoli (or Aluko) Vestergaard Nelson Ricardo (Inverting from the left) Winks James Ramsey Fatawu Daka Mavadidi (if Fit)
-
Playing Devil's advocate here, but if he selects Page, Nelson and Aluko and we are still struggling, will people still get on his back for giving youth a chance?
-
Brilliant - I had the same issue when I've just checked - Thanks for the advice - it works.

Pity it's the same night we play Hull away, otherwise I'd have gone.
