  1. The number 9 that came on for them was probably the worst footballer I've ever seen at the KP. **** me he was shocking. Competition winner stuff.
  2. Does Marsh get the best out of Vestergaard and KDH? Does he manage to keep hold of Faes and Ndidi? Does he change the mentality of the club in such a short space of time? I'd put my mortgage on 'No'.
  3. Who has a 50m advantage over everyone else? The chart you've posted shows the most supported team in England earning 6m more than West Ham
  4. So exactly as I said then. No they don't.
  5. No they dont
  6. The Premier League is probably the second best run sporting competition in the world after the NFL in terms of viewership, funds, sponsorships, fan engagement and prestige. Every young footballer in the world wants to play in the Premier League. I would say it's disingenuous to say that the Premier League is a concept that doesn't work. Premier League is actually funded quite evenly and fairly.
  7. See my post quoted above. I think the Super League is a good idea if those proposals are implemented.
  8. Why would it do that more than the Champions League already does?
  9. The responses I got made me think people didn't realise. Not really sure why UEFA need to be the controlling force of international club football in Europe more than anyone else to be honest. I think they've shown they're as corrupt and as greedy as anyone else.
  10. Off the top of my head i'll have a go. Akinbiyi Benalouane Cambiasso Deane Elliott Faes Ghezzal Heath Izzett Justin Knockaert Lineker Mahrez Ndidi Oakes Piper Q Roberts Schmeichel Taggart Ulloa Vardy Walsh X Young Zagorakis
  11. See my last post. The concept of the Super League is that the clubs create a new Champions League. They would still like to play domestic football. They want out of UEFA.
  12. The Super League is a new Champions League as opposed to Premier League.
  13. Is there anything really that bad with it if the following is implemented? No benefits for the clubs that are forwarding this idea (no relegation, extra money etc). No automatic spot. Places to be earned via both domestic and super league performances. Ability for Anstey Nomads to theoretically play in it one day. Prize money to be shared via performance level. Appointment of independent regulator to govern rule changes (not sure how possible this would be - just can't stick the idea that Florentino Perez controls football more than he already does).
  14. I think they need a striker that could fill in if Watkins gets an injury because if that happens then they're ****ed.
  15. Be great if the stadium was completely empty in protest.
  16. Micah Richards said on the rest is football podcast that presents get shared with the people that have personal relationships with the players like the kit man, masseur, chef etc. Be weird if the players went round the club shop handing out presents though I think.
  17. Man City flop striker
  18. I think he'd be a good addition for like a 6 month loan or something. Pretty sure he was championship player of the season last year while playing as an 8. Would much rather someone like him come off the bench than Casadei.
  19. Says a lot about them that even their team mates think they chucked it in. Makes you wonder what they were talking about to each other when they were away on these international trips. Personally think Courtois is absolutely spot on to call them out. Even if he is generally a bit of a twat.
  20. Yeah it's pretty much the exact same scenario.
  21. Rooney is one of those over eager young managers that thinks all he has to do is say the words and his team will start playing beautiful, free flowing, all out attack football. Birmingham played a high line with Marc Roberts and Dion Sanderson. Milk turns quicker. Then he put their fullbacks one vs one with our wingers with no support from midfield. He also just flat out refused to acknowledge the space that KDH got pretty much all game. Almost as if to say "what are you gonna do, score?!". Not sure why he didn't look at how Eustace had been winning them points and continue playing that way and then looked to change the way they played over time. They simply don't have the personnel to play the way they tried last night. I think Maresca must have been wondering what he was up against and if he'd actually earned his coaching badges.
  22. Ghana's got forwards like Kudus, Williams, Ayew and Semenyo who are all playing regular football at a higher standard. I think he'll end up being one of Ghana's all time greats but it's probably fair to say he doesn't start for them right now. That said he's definitely going if he gets the call up.
  23. Think anyone that gets wound up at that probably needs to chill out. There's obvious similarities between our 15/16 season and Villa's current season. Genuine chance they're top at Christmas. What i'd say is that no matter what happens it wouldn't top our achievement. I don't think anyone is arguing that either.
  24. He's basically Knockaert but rapid. Properly bonkers, all the ability in the world, will probably let you down here and there by doing something daft but ****ing hell do we love him.
  25. The likes of Hamza, Coady, Souttar, Cannon, McAteer etc should get starts. 6/7 changes for me.
