  1. We owe Mac bank around £130m in loans. Which coincides roughly with the stock option we have available. Top sells to himself, clears the loans with the cash injection. Then sells the club as debt free basically. We’d need to buy the stadium from KP holdings. I think we owe them £40m balance. Belvoir Road is valued at £6m. Sell that to offset. It’s doable, however who wants to buy? We are unsustainable in reality.
  2. He’s also the owner of Tang Polo club in China, which appears to be quite lucrative!
  3. Shilai Liu had a connection to Vichai via Polo. He’s an initial investor at the time of purchase and basically moves in the Polo circuit. He’s a well known figure I guess, one of Chinas best polo players and the owner of Tang Polo club. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2SGb2supqw/?igsh=M3FwdHB6aHgxNGht If you wondered who he was ….. he’s here!
  4. In summary, We are in fact, still owned by King Power. We are also up to our eyeballs in debt to them and the bank. We’ve given ourselves sleeve for investment.
  5. The latest set of full accounts indicate that “The club continues to receive exceptionally strong support from King Power International (KPI) and the Srivaddhanaprabha family. The going concern section of the accounts alluded to our cashflow requirements being reliant on external banks, player trading, investment from the holding company or King Power International. K Power Holdings Companies Limited actually own the stadium and the club pay them as part of a “Hire Purchase agreement”. The accounts signed off by Susan Whelan in December 2024 actually state that our ultimate parent company and controlling company is King Power International Limited. It might be Top in name, however it’s ultimately King Power. The holding company of King Power is V&A Holdings Company. Of which the owners of V&A are the Srivaddhanaprabha family. It was approved to allocate a further 116,000,000 shares on the 15th April at £1 each. Therefore we can raise further cash if required, or it allows additional investment. They’ve given themselves a tool here potentially in case of financial emergency and the family need to sell. Whilst King Power don’t own us, we are intrinsically linked, as Top way need to sell with his left hand, to find with his right. the generation of shares, actually allows this (or player purchases, stadium building).
  6. Correction, I’m level 133!
  7. I’ve really enjoyed this season. I’ve been travelling with work, so not a lot to do. Level 137 I think now 😂
  8. Same here! Grinding them!

    The Weather

I close everything in the day, blinds, windows etc, just to keep the heat out. I opened everything up around 2AM. The 6 Velux windows on our top level were great, as the hot air rushed out of them. It was saying it was 31c when I went up!

    The Weather

The challenge we have and it’s a “British Heat” thing, we don’t have air conditioning houses and they’re built to withhold heat. Today is one of those bizarre, warm, humid, it might rain cats and dogs day. We all just need a good electronic storm for a few hours, as that would be fascinating and cool everything down.
  11. Which was wrong at the time and still is now!
  12. Yes, agree. 👍
  13. I’m just watching this press conference on Sky News now. I can’t see really see how this plays out. My logical brain tells me that Iran drops back and falls inline. They have no natural allies as such, unless they join forces with the likes of North Korea, Russia, Belarus etc However they’re slightly isolated as they have no friends in the Gulf.
  14. Yes, it’s not always about people. Forcing people over 50 out is bonkers. Bizarrely, I always think if you ask your employees then give them even 1% of the savings, you’d have so much buy in. You’d be inundated with ideas.
  15. I think we’d be surprised how much wastage the council has. It might not have a money tree, however maybe it can find some down the back of the sofa by cutting out stupid spending.
  16. I mean, maybe they moved the facility deeper! We saw how this played out in Top Gun 2 though.
  17. If you’re short on time, Battle Royale Blitz is the answer. Temporary game mode; 5 minute matches and they’re great! Ranking up the crown victories 😂
  18. Wordle 1,464 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟨🟩⬜🟨⬜ ⬜🟩⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Pure guesswork from me, having run out of other vowels. I didn’t know the word. I’ve had to Google what it meant afterward. So today, I’ve been educated.
  19. I also wonder if the doomsday clock will now be moved from 89 seconds to Midnight? I’m sure he’s acting on intelligence that isn’t widely available, however Orange Man is basically war mongering. Attacking Iran with congressional approval (which he doesn’t actually need to do in case of emergencies), could push that clock handle backward, or forward. Maybe it’s a case of the bearings will continue until they fall inline with what the US wants.
  20. I agree with this. I think if voting was mandatory for the past 20 years, we’d live in a vastly different landscape in this country now. As it is not, we are, where we are.
  21. We have just finished this and I fully agree. I couldn’t understand why it was so highly rated after episode one. I’d encourage everyone to stick with it, as it’s exceptional. I‘d even go out and a limb and state it’s maybe the best series we’ve watched this year.
  22. Tavares being linked to Blackburn for £2m
  23. Ward I’ll give you. Horrendous signing. Diabate I’ll give you. Albeit he was cheap-ish Benkovic showed promise but was ultimately broken. A case of what could have been like Tunchev really. Ghezzal ….. I’ve no bloody idea what we were thinking. Monaco were laughing at us. Puel was a steady hand, at the time as we transitioned. I get the football was bad and he’s very marmite in terms of what people think of him.
  24. Flags are overrated. In fact, I don’t get the obsession with them in the slightest.
  25. Bizarrely, RVN had us playing worse football though and has kept his job.
