  1. It’s a bit like having a mansion, then filling it full of furniture from Temu.
  2. https://www.witneygazette.co.uk/sport/24984119.leicester-city-loanee-ben-nelson-returns-oxford-united/ Leicester City loanee Ben Nelson returns to Oxford United BEN Nelson is back at Oxford United and trained with the team yesterday for the first time since suffering a quad injury in November. The 20-year-old centre back returned to parent club Leicester City after suffering the injury during United’s 1-0 victory at home to Hull City. Nelson is one of four U’s players expected to be available again after the March international break, alongside Joe Bennett, Greg Leigh and Tom Bradshaw. United head coach Gary Rowett said: “Ben Nelson is back in the group training for the first day. I think it’s going to take him a little bit of time to be at a level when he can then start playing games, so you’re probably looking at the international break. “There is a small chance maybe just before that, but again we’ve got to try and make good decisions around a young player with great potential. “You’ve also got the other lads who probably would be in and around a similar timescale. “There might be one of them back just before and there might be one of them back two weeks after. “The international break is a good point to say that hopefully the next game after that, which will be Middlesbrough, we would hope to have a very strong squad, which would be nice to see.”

  4. I think this is fairly black and white. If they have potential, they need to be around the squad and be playing first team football. We could have played Monga every game this season and I doubt we’d be much worse off than we are now.

  12. I take Dean Smith again, over anything RVN is attempting to do.
  13. I’m not sure he lives in London. I saw him standing on a street corner in Hugglescote, I’d assumed he was waiting for Iversen about 18 months ago! Also, I never thought we’d have to deal with dog poo on the pitches at Seagrave.
  14. Why is he still here? He’s the worst manager we’ve ever had.

That’s call Trumpflation. Every time he talks, the numbers get bigger!
  16. I’m really surprised he’s still here. If he walks, he controls the narrative, can say he was lied to, not supported etc. If he’s sacked, that sits on his CV.

In the Trump / Starmer meeting earlier this week, when asked about calling Zelenskyy “A Dictator”, he said “Did I say that”? Zelenskyy called Vance out after he went on a tirade about Biden being all talk and no action, therefore Trump will be a President of Action, then how he would engage in diplomacy. Zelenskyy then stated the truth that he basically wasn’t a person of action whilst Putin went against the cease fire that had been agreed. Trump is only concerned about the US. He’s always said that. To a degree, a destabilised Europe plays into Trumps hands. It allows him to bully from a stronger position which is his negotiating style. Is this not similar to WW2 where the US didn’t get involved, as a large proportion of water separates them for the front line? Quite frankly, I’m not sure why we should be inviting the orange one for a state visit at this point. The bloke needs banning from entering the country. Additionally, I think we should really consider strengthening our ties with Europe and seek alternative methods of trade. NATO is basically a dead duck with Trump in charge. It the UK got invaded by Russia tomorrow, I’m not sure Trump would support us. He’s looking for a trade off financially for support, which is what you do in a business deal, rather than acting on what is morally right.

  22. I initially thought that, however I don’t think Wolves will get enough points to be clear of us by that point.

Realistically, I don’t see us picking up any points until game week 34. I mean, we might not even score until then. Wolves have both Southampton and Ipswich before then. So they’ll either be out of touch, or we’ll be in the bottom two I’d imagine. I don’t see Southampton being any better than us. They might surpass Derbys record by beating us!
  24. I do as well. I could see him going back to Italy.
