I actually think the Blackburn situation is compounded by an Indian Goverment ruling that makes them underwrite the investment to businesses to 100%. They don’t have the liquidity to do it, therefore investment is minimal.

I think this is very accurate. Venkys are doing to Blackburn, what King Power are doing to us. They’ve fallen apart in the last 10 years and have really lost a generation of future supporters. Average attendances are down 24k to 14k. Little to no money being spent. Losing money. Fan want them to sell but they won’t. Sounds very, very similar to our current situation.

I think it was sort of acknowledged quite quickly that this bloke wasn’t going to be great when we all looked at the stats. Bizarrely he’s not even Edouard levels of good, As I think he’d have scored goals at this level, as he’s showing this season. We seem to have developed a bomb squad and this fella is a part of it. I’d likely guess he’s got a 10 game trigger but why he’s on the bench then not used, is again just weird. You’d think we’d put Jake Evans on it, for nothing more than getting him acclimatised to being on a match day squad. Carranza’s top contribution since joining us seems to be modelling crap for the King Power shop.

How good is this guy? Can he catch a football? Can he communicate with the defence?

At this point I think we need: 1 x Goalkeeper that can command his area. 1 x Right back that is dependable and consistent. 1 x Left back that can just do the basics well. 2 x centre backs. 2 x centre mids. 1 x Left Midfield / winger as we need options for Fatawu. 2 x strikers that know where the net is. We then need to sell the equivalent amount to clear squad space. I foresee none of this happening.

I don’t think they can ban the BBC as contractually they are allowed to be there due to the ties with the EFL. However, I guess they can not allow them access to other stuff. I am really surprised more people / media outlets aren’t asking questions at this point.

The best way to describe it is “dull”. Its like Groundhog Day of the Craig Levein years, without the excitement of Tha FA Cup win when De Vries scored against Tottenham.

I think because we have hit the heights we have done within the last 15 years, the dramatic fall has left me feeling detached from not just Leicester, but all of football. I’ve little to no interest in us currently.
