I quite liked “Get Out”. I’d not heard of it, then it dropped on Sky. From memory, I ended up watching it in a hotel room on my iPad one night. Parasite, I sat at home to watch and I struggled. I just didn’t get the hype. If you think 2000 onward, we’ve had some great films that maybe younger people haven’t seen. I’ve just looked at my IMDB ratings and I’d say my top ones are: Memento The Green Mile The Pursuit of Happiness The Dark Knight Moneyball The Wolf Of Wall Street Infinity War End Game The Prestidge Blood Diamond Kill Bill

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

I mean, as I club make next to no effort to communicate with us, we could be under a business plan agreement with the EFL. King Power / Top are the equivalent of North Korea at this point in terms of communication. The EFL wouldn’t need to announce it. If Begovic has come in on basically a coaches wage, as he should never be playing, then that doesn’t really count as a signing. -
We’ve seen it quite a few times in the Championship, where teams have spent lots, then struggled to get promoted. Aston Villa, 2016 - 2018. Grealish finally dragged them back up in 2019. It feels like Derby spent a small fortune under Mel Morris, then ultimately collapsed, around the same time period. I can see Ipswich doing more of a Fulham if they don’t get the recruitment right, they’ll get promoted, however will YoYo for years. Wasn’t it something like promotion, relegation, promotion for 6 years on the trot?

Surely Tomi Petrescu has retired now? That can’t be right that he’s still playing. Still amazes me that Pier Larrauri is still only 31 though!

I was just reading that. Basically ran the midfield on his own by the sound of it.

Moyes steadied the ship.

In fairness, some of Foxestalk strongly dislike the current lot as well

Next Ex Leicester City Player to be relegated

It will likely be Justin or Hermansen though I’d say at this point. -
Next Ex Leicester City Player to be relegated

Are we not counting Buonanotte or Eduoard? -
Pretty much how I saw it.

Looks like we’ve taken out money on the Hermansen sale. £3.77m payable from West Ham on the 17th August 26, 17th August 2027 and 17th August 2028.

Another one has just hit companies house!

Exactly!!

They watched a video from YouTube of his highlights at Bologna. Our best left back was Justin and we sold him to Leeds.

This is seriously over the top. It is still a job and isn’t really that different, if anything I’d say it restricts you more than Bob being a landscaper, or Dad planting trees (I didn’t realise Winks was ) They have to live a lifestyle that restricts what they do, so if your work environment is toxic, why wouldn’t you want to improve that. This.
-
It’s because, because defensive wise, his stats semi stand up. The naked eye test tells a different story though, as he doesn’t exactly look great.
-
It’s also worth noting, Maresca and his team will know his weaknesses so will have played to that. He won’t be conceding five goals every week.
-
This is spot on. Fans realistically see players for maybe three hours. That’s less than 2% of the week. If you came to inspect me whilst I was working yesterday, I was clearly annoyed with some stupid stuff my colleagues has done. I travel around the country and will often drive in / out of locations at times doing 300+ miles in a day, rather than staying in hotels, so I can be home at night, in order to attend family events things like swimming lessons, scouts, sports sessions etc, however being social able with my family. Do I care about the company I work for, of course I do, maybe a little too much if anything. Perception becomes reality at times and Winks is not only our best midfielder, however he’s potentially one of the best midfielders in this league. Don’t judge a book by its cover, if he’s frustrated and wants away, then everyone feels like that at times. Sometimes changing the toxic parts of the club allow others to blossom. I don’t see Winks as being toxic.

Brendan is a bit like Mourinho, Conte, Bielsa etc, a typical 3 year cycle manager / impact coach. He can firefight, people buy into the vision, passion (bullshiz) and graft that bit harder. He can’t build a team and the fizz goes, then it all goes to pop. If he’d left after the Forest defeat and said those things, knowing the board wouldn’t back him, then he’d be thought of so much more highly on here. He isn’t a bad coach, just one that outlasted his period. Rodgers can’t build teams. It’s a bit like asking a fish to climb a tree. It’s about as effective. You could see him walking into somewhere like United and improving them though.

I mean, I don’t understand a word of this interview, however I’m sure someone can translate it!

I came across this earlier, not sure if I’ve seen this posted before and he Aluko maybe deserves his own topic now!
-
He definitely isn’t. G https://www.squawka.com/en/comparison-matrix/?compare=an-nxjltlWTVCx980DIgu Looking at last season’s stats, Thomas has a better: Passing accuracy % Crossing accuracy % Aerial duel success % Take on success % More clearances and inceptions per game The reality is, it’s much of a muchness between them. We don’t need two left backs of a similar standard. One doesn’t want to be here, has never been overly liked by members of the squad and we can get £10m for him. Even better when you consider it’ll bring the overall wage bill down as well. No brainer really. We’ll have 4 fullbacks in Choudhury, Ricardo, Thomas and Aluko.
-
It’s a bit like when Kristiansen played in Serie A. Whilst they do have good players in the league, the overall standard isn’t as high as it was in relative terms to the Premier League, as say it was in the early 00s. That fraction of seconds extra on the ball etc, as the game is slower, will help technically inferior players. To use he’s okay, does a steady job, for them he speaks Italian, knows the country, maybe hits the ground running, so is a fairly safe purchase.

If that’s based on per 90 mins, Winks has hardly played? I think Soumare needed selling as soon as we had a half decent offer for what it’s worth.
