What a quality goal that was. Nice to see us not rush and mess it up. Now please do not sit back and invite them on!

Decent window all said and done with the two late midfield options. Could've done with shifting one or two more and the Carranza signing isn't exactly inspiring as we desperately needed a goal scorer. Feel we're going to be over reliant on output from our wingers and midfielders to stand any chance, unless Daka has some sort of renaissance.

Imagine being on the verge of an England call up in a side excelling towards European football only to be called "wank" years later. With all the other bad attitudes and genuinely useless footballers at the club at the moment, I can't help but feel this is a bit unfair on JJ. As with Ricardo, without his injury it's a different conversation and he's one of our best players / biggest outgoings transfers. -
Game went very much as expected. Wednesday full of beans and got a fortunate goal. Much the better team after half time and the quality showed. Long old season. 3 pts onto the next one.

We need someone who can completely rebuild the squad, dictating standards and demanding quality. On the evidence so far he unfortunately is not that person. -
Ward with -2.58 goals prevented on xG. Bloke is a literal handicap.

I meant Skipp, my bad

Mads having a worldie. Winks on for soumare as well, need to look after the ball better
-
Facundo on the right and Mavididi on for mcateer on the left in the second.
-
Yes please, gives us something different.

Ricardo would be perfect in the role that Reid is playing coming inside into the midfield. Considering how shit Reid is the fact Ricardo is wasting away on the bench is infuriating.
-
He'd have been a shrewd signing on a free, but I can't help feeling like we've misused funds here considering he'll soon turn 33. I just hope this means we'll get another 1 or 2 through the door.

Brave performance as he was shocking in the first half but kept battling. We need players with this kind of mentality if we're going to stay up this season.

Fair play to Cooper and the players, never saw that second half coming. Some positives in there with Fatawu, Buonanotte and the 🐐 -
How is Reid still on the pitch
-
Buonanotte must be wondering what he's got himself into.

Can't see anything other than a battering here.

Completely agree. They have very little league experience yet people want to chuck them in at the deep end in a season that's very likely going to be a relegation scrap. Seems like madness to me, better that they go out on loan and prove themselves at Championship level and then we can reassess in the New Year.

Hope this one has legs, this guy is going to be a very good player.

Solid signing. I bet the same people who are moaning about this moaned about Albrighton.

All in all this is a depressing state of affairs for football. What is the point of it all if you're having to sell your academy players in order to comply with some terribly defined rules? I understand players wanting to move on to bigger and better things but KDH genuinely didn't want to move. Surely football should be encouraging holding onto your local talent to get back to the original purpose of localised clubs. All it's doing is moving more to mercenary football which I suppose suits the modern global demand. Hopefully the bubble will soon burst and these over inflated fees and wages will come down and stop the financial mess teams currently find themselves in.
-
The other deals are purely there to circumvent PSR rules so are using highly inflated fees in a "swap" so neither club loses out. Whilst £30m is lower than what we'd want I don't think it's too far off, and we've not given Chelsea any inflated fee for Golding so they were unlikely to part with more knowing our position. More hatred should be sent the way of our incompetent execs who have messed up so bad to the point we're forced into selling one of our best long-term assets unnecessarily.

This style of football has gone past the stage of boring and ineffective to absolute dogshit. How can he watch that first 60 minutes and plough on with the same crap. No plan B, no bottle, no fight just utter rubbish .
