  1. Very impressed with Nelson so far. Looks quality that kids got a huge future in the game.
  2. We struggles with Chris Wood to be fair.
  3. I’m hoping Junior Lewis is going to come on for him any minute.
  4. Oo that’s close, he looks on with the first viewing. Unlucky
  5. FFS can he drag Choudhury before he costa us the game - he’s been as bad as I’ve seen anyone in a Leicester shirt today. Bloody awful!
  6. What position do Thomas and Raikhy play?
  7. Is shit house one word or two? - it’s for a professional email.
  8. Harsh on Cover, but the other two have been awful. Surprised Choudhury is still on the field.
  9. Lots of changes at half time and bringing out some of the big guns. Justin, Ricardo and McAteer on.
  10. It’s bad, but not a single player on the pitch gets in our strongest 11, this game has zero reflection on our season as a whole.
  11. Both, they are playing full strength, but we are also playing shite.
  12. FfS this is shite, too many players on the pitch who are either not interested or simply not good enough for how we are trying to play with the ball.
  13. Has Choudhury been breathalysed before the game? He’s playing like he’s pissed again.
  14. Live on Paramount Plus down under.
  15. Mate, how do you go in real life when something doesn’t go to plan? It’s not all end of the world stuff… Who has significantly strengthened in the competition? How many players can you name in this league that get into our first 11? Also, getting several players back fit and not one Player of note leaving, how are we weaker? Or is it unless we win by 4 goals every week it’s all doom and gloom?
  16. What do we know about Cover?
  17. I would imagine, with Mowbray still only being relatively new at Brum, he will use this game to have a closer look at a few squad and younger players - no guarantee but the championship being what it is in their position they win 3 or 4 on the bounce and suddenly they are back in contention for the play offs, they lose 3 or 4 and they are in serious trouble. With that in mind it’s a chance for us to rotate a bit, but I think it’s important we stay in the cup for two reason 1) winning is a habit, the more we win the better for the team and 2) these games give us the chance to give the likes of Nelson and possibly Alves as well as Coady, Albrighton, Praet game time and ensure they are match fit and ready to play if needed. Id go: Stolarczyk Choudhury Nelson Coady Doyle Yunus Praet Winks Albrighton Cannon Maswanhise I think with Brum making 5/6 changes that should be enough to get us over the line.

    Daka

Daka out and heading home, should mean he’s available for Swansea
  19. This in my opinion, is one of the bigger problems. Speaking as someone with a lot of leadership experience, sometimes you have to cause a bit of disruption and hassle to move forward in any organisation. The players and the manager are repeatedly calling for more from the support and in its present form, there’s not a lot going to change. It wouldn’t be that hard to plan and announce early a rejig, maybe offer some bonus or discount for loyal supporters to move seats. In the long term, if you create a plan and offer a 1% discount per season you’ve had the seat to move if the stand you’re in doesn’t suit what you go to football for. We could have a family stand, a sit and clap stand and a Kop end even if we are brave a safe standing zone too. A big change is needed from above to make a difference, I’m just not sure that the appetite is there from those who can change thing.
  20. It’s so bizarre how they use VAR in the ALeague, one of the biggest criticism of “soccer” from AFL fans is the low scoring nature of the games - then it always appears to me that they go out of their way to try and find fault in every goal. This along with other rules set out for supporters in grounds have ruined what was beginning to be a great competition. If you have a look at the highest attendance for an A League game, not one of them will have happened since the introduction of VAR, it’s completely killed the game. For the last 5 seasons, the average attendance hasn’t been above 10,000 for the competition, before VAR regular 50,000 + crowds for big games such as the Sydney derby or Melbourne Victory’s rivalry with every other club. Not so long ago, Melbourne Victory we’re getting 25 - 30,000 every week, now you’re lucky to get 10,000. I now go and watch NPL or state league games, the equivalent of going to watch non league football. No VAR, No Police, security just me a beer, a burger and some good football and depending on which game you go to you can get a cracking atmosphere too.
  21. Credit the information to Lee88LCFC on Instagram, not sure where the original story came from, but this would be the best way to stamp our authority back over the Cov lot if there any truth.
  22. I don’t care what peoples excuses are and what other things they have to do on a Monday night or traffic or whatever. When the team is back to the wall in a 1st v 2nd game, most teams need their joke support to get them over the line. Our support sits silent all night then heads home at 85 mins. Shit support
