I hate the punishing the fans argument, yes the fans have no control over what the board do. But we also don’t have control over player signings and management appointments made by the board - should we as fans be punished with relegation because the owners didn’t sack the manager quick enough, or didn’t sign a quality goalkeeper to replace Kasper? It’s the same thing, the clubs in both incidents were mismanaged at the top level and now have to suffer the consequences.

Unfortunately, and not excusing it by any means, but as soon as the cost of living grows above the means of an average person, the crime rate skyrockets. This is happening globally, there is a severe breakdown in communities, we’re more connected globally, but less connected to the neighbours than ever before. This alongside the ridiculous cost of survival, affording the basics; gas, electricity, water, shelter and food means crime rates will spike and more and more will see their only option to take what they need. It’s a huge problem everywhere, but hey banks and supermarkets are making record profits so who really cares hey!

This is exactly what Rodgers said prior to last season. We can’t keep doing business like this, clearly both Rodgers and Enzo expected to have money going into their transfer windows, and then are told late there is no money.
