I say this about the cinema, do they leave early to beat the traffic out of Meridian o to the outer ring, mongies can’t answer that one. I heard someone say they had to go to feed the rabbit, feed the rabbit? What an utter twat, it’s a wild animal that has no concept of time and who the feck feeds a rabbit at 4pm on a Sunday, just feck off you mongy and never come back, let a supporter who will support the boys to the final whistle have your seat. Probably one of the 7000 new STH after we got promoted in 2014 that all of a sudden had the time, money and no other commitments to attend all home games whereas for the decade or more before they’d always string out an excuse why they couldn’t go, hence 10,000 empty seats every home game.

I missed Tuesday due to an accident at work and didn’t feel well enough to go, I think he means this.

You don’t need network to open your wallet and use it, what probably happened is the fans hadn’t added it to their wallet before turning up, as soon as I get a glimpse of the stadium I’ve got zero phone data. But as long as that match day ticket is in your wallet you’re in. Which loads automatically anyway after the first email link. I was sceptical at first but no way I’m handing over anymore money just for a plastic card. My ST is all I pay out to the club, never buy anything on match day or buy anything from the shop.
-
Or 3D print a digit then just pass it around when you can’t attend.
-
Not a good sign then! Unless he had you when he was very young? But fair play to your dad for having a smart phone at 84, since my dad retired he’s never had or used a phone.
-
You don’t hold it under the scanner, you place it at the top with the ))) signs, underneath is for QR codes, your phone has this on it if your NFT device on the top of the phone doesn’t work. But card users don’t have this on their card so phones have a back up, cards don’t. To quash a myth as well, if you’re still using a card as you don’t want to be locked out if the NFT goes down, well your card has the same system as what is in the top of smart phones to allow NFT, so if phone users can not get in neither can card users. Anyone then saying well my card has my seat number on it so they can still let me in manually, well so does your phone in your wallet. The only folks not wanting NFT are ones who share seats, no other reason really.

Don Valley stadium against Rotherham, dug out way over on the far side, “let’s all do the Sven wave, let’s all do the Sven wave”, which after we did he obliged back to us.

Went past on my bike earlier and saw that but no fa cup although a chap was on a scissor lift so they’re still installing them as half way down the east stand it stops and the kop is still all the old ones.

I’ve got a feeling this will probably be my last season, that’s from someone who has been P1 and going to if not all, the majority of aways as well since NFP’s first stint in charge. Back then you’d look forward to not just the game but the complete day out, now it’s got so sterile and all this constant begging from the club about arriving early and that crap that goes on outside the fan store. I too think it’s gone all American which is a great shame. I’ve already given up on all aways this season, next it will be my seat at home. Quorn FC seems very tempting.
-
Expansion sidelined because they’ve had a few bits of fabric printed and bought some new bongo straps? The clappers probably cost more for a season than this job cost.
-
That to me looks like you’re standing near the burger vans, scarf seller on the east stand corner with the away entrance to your right. There are usually a few Skoda plod cars parked to the left just in front of that engineering factory.
-
Not just me then? I thought it was Fred. Also how come Shakey is half way through a Cornetto in a pub when they’re having a pint? There must be more to this pic.

The best place is the first row in the top part of the tier just above the walkway when you go into the stand, can’t remember what row it is but you get a view of most of the pitch albeit far left corner is still out of sight. -

I did that for the fa cup final, no way I was going on the coaches as they first said so waited it out until the Friday that you could buy without the coach nonsense, booked a driveway near cannons park for a fiver, parked up straight on tube in minutes. I think most just go to the first station which is Stanmore when others are only minutes up the line and less people use them. -

Yes but as my screen shot above shows from the start of that season, the points were carried over from previous season to start with. -

Just found this post from 2014 about the away scheme and it says the current points system started in 2012/13 season. Goes back further than I thought then. -

It was with 3 STH brackets, above 13 for 1 I think, 7-12 for 2 and the rest in 3. They did mess about with it one season where you got double away points for a midweek game at eg Barnsley, then I think it was 5 points an away and 10 for one of those, that system ended and we went back to the above until 2014. I am fairly sure they carried over your history from the championship season, as the away priority scheme started then as well and if you’d been to almost all the aways previous season you got invited onto it and I have to say it was a good system until they dropped it and just put it in front of P1, I left it then as no point being on it if I’ve got to log on to buy. The future for aways will be NFT before long with trials this season I’ve heard. I’d happily go back to the 3 tier STH cats based on only previous season even though I am still P1, I think the history thing going back now a decade is too much. -
You might be a decade out, Global Hyper Colour T shirts were an early 90’s fad, looked great when you walked in a pub but by 11pm looked rank!

We have already had a similar thing in 2014 when you got invited onto the away priority scheme if you’d been to most of the previous seasons away games. Not quite an away ST but not far off and it worked really well as it meant I just waited for the ticket in the post, but a few seasons down the line it ended and you got a slot before P1 to buy them. I came off it after Covid. -
Is it just me or are the 3 stripes logos on the actual players shirts getting larger and larger, in the Euros they all seem huge, and don't get me started on the countries badge. ie France.
-
But these are not actual football shirts, they’re replica fan shirts. Players wear totally different to the rubbish they sell in the shops. I still say no grown adult should be seen walking around in a replica shirt, if you are partaking in a sporting activity then ok but wearing with jeans, joggers to go to a match makes you look like a retard.
-
It doesn’t make it right though. Where will it end then if they just keep raising the price? After all as you say it is a business. Fans club, family club, my arse.
-
Kop pricing averages out at £50.50 a match or £962 a season of 19 games, I know it doesn’t work like that by Christ. I’d want a silver service meal pre match for that kind of cost.
