Can they afford to sack him? They gave Sven the boot after the 3-0 home defeat to Millwall though.

Home and Away Support/Atmosphere
promised land replied to FoxesTalker's topic in Leicester City Forum
So someone who can’t be bothered to drag himself to a game but would sooner watch on tv wants to change the atmosphere/ songs at away days? Who put you in charge? -
Have they got a 5 year old in the ticket IT dept now, I’ve just read an email today from them saying, ”our first points drop lands at 2pm today”, what are they trying to achieve writing that crap. Just say ,”on sale from 2pm today”. Nothing has dropped and nothing has landed.

Not just your average punters it’s the expensive corporate lot where the majority of empty seats are. -

Not entirely correct, the quadrant below the gallery was empty top half which is corporate i believe, the area of dark blue padded seats at top centre of main stand was practically empty and I counted about a dozen boxes not used. So a lot of empty seats are the posh business parts as well as normal fans like us. The corporate areas being low on uptake will hurt their finances as this is where match day money is made, not from us STH plebs. -
You should tell Hilda that Thomas will be at Quorn fc or anstey nomads in a season or two, she could get a selfie by the touch line when he’s on the pitch then. Regarding tifo’s, I think the surfers are the best part of it. The bits of foil some hold up far too early.

Burton Albion Pre-Match Thread (Sat 22 Aug 15:00)
promised land replied to FoxesTalker's topic in Leicester City Forum
What is all this crap I keep reading g about the next chapter begins? It is like the club are proud of where we are. They should be bloody ashamed of the fact we are third tier and not beating teams (last week) who were fourth tier last season. -
Your group sits on the FCC meetings or whatever they’re called, have you ever called them out on this to get more transparency on how many box, sponsors, players do get per game? At meadow lane 3 young dolled up girls were near us who clearly were players family/ friends, these lot always stick out like a sore thumb but box and sponsors less so. When we went up in 2014 we were on the away scheme and most games ended up near what appeared to be Cambiasso’s group, even if they only get 3/4 each it still adds up in the squad. Even though I was still there, Stamford Bridge in 2016 still irks me that so many were upper tier who had never been to an away day before. I mentioned fox members on the Notts County thread I think, it is wrong but someone pointed out it’s minimal tickets that get allocated, but how does it compare to these other hand outs. It should be clear who gets what especially this season.

Notts County 1-1 LCFC - Post Match Thread

Careful, 50 plus years he has been a supporter, we must acknowledge that and doff our caps. Totally with you though, at the end when the players came over quite a lot were clapping, chap near us shouted “shy are you clapping for that’, I agreed with him, no way I’d applaud that show today. Lucky we were not beaten by a couple of goals, their keeper had a very relaxed Saturday afternoon, yes let one in but didn’t have to do much more. -
I saw some pics of Saturdays tin pot cup game and the fox outline at the end of king power on the seats has been blued out now. Not sure when that happened, but the seats are shot it, they revamped the colour 10 years ago I reckon they used a blow torch to bring them back but now they’re dreadful. Off topic, that frieze should never have been taken down. A young Nige as well. When was that taken? 7 years after it was built so still relatively new, seats are now 25 years old or thereabouts.

The priority system and members ballot. It's not fair!
promised land replied to reidt's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Yes thinking back it was open to abuse a bit, but it was very easy to get P1 in one season. Maybe why they altered it. -

They tried that for one season, long away midweek you had 2 points whereas a Saturday away you got one. It was before 2014, but after the old priority bands of 0-7 games P3, 7-13 P2 and over 13 P1 or it used to be something like that. So every season you could leap up to P1 if you’d been to 13 plus aways previous season. Back when we had paper ST with a random number to tear out. -
2026/27 Match Ticket Prices Confirmed
promised land replied to jammie82uk's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we start poorly then a lot won’t come on an away day as we could be here a while but if we fly out of the traps like we all wish for then they might see it as a one season chance to come. Truth is none of us know and are just voicing our own opinions which is what forums are for. Local teams you’d expect good following but Tuesday night in the depths of winter for away teams to tramp over half the country to get here, may be not. -

23k STH if you believe what they say but they released a further few hundred last week didn’t they? So have they really got that many? Very optimistic if you think 3k away fans will be here, we are simply not a big draw, last season the away end rarely was full. You might be looking at a lot of games with 1k to 1.5k in the away end at most. -
So a few fox members get priority over a STH on 759 points. Wrong that.
-
Recent ish? It was a decade ago now, keep it up and we will be no different to Notts Forest and their cup wins over 40 years in the past. Bromley will be a real bun fight for tickets I reckon, Stockport and Stevenage as well.
-
Certainly is, I had a butchers at away tickets last night and nothing, then got the email today about ‘joining them.’ Im not joining you, I’m going to support the team. In the old days they were on sale about 4 weeks out I think, with dates, prices way before that. Is this the norm for third tier? Or a one off, time will tell.

Fans bring bent over too who would’ve had travel plans pretty much sorted now might miss kick off or the game completely. One reason why world cups should only have one country hosting it. Money talks though.
-
I have just read it and no where does it state one point per game, but if they’re running it through the away ticket scheme in my opinion you should get a point per game. Last pre season friendlies I did that wasn’t the case. But it stinks a bit they’re using the away points scheme to sell friendly tickets and you have to apply to join a ballot for the seagrave one.Dear me.

Fairly sure he’s still living in Market Bosworth, his G wagon is always outside his house and it does move.

Football’s gone, countdown from 10 to zero at kick off, 2 time outs as well as that’s exactly what this hydration shite is. -

22 degrees AC on you don’t need a time out as that’s what the sceptics have in their World Series of ball games. -
Yep, had an email about next seasons ST other day, then this shite about 12 not 11 payments today, sent twice as well. You couldn’t make it up.
