a couple of things about this pic, the players all seem to be wearing mainly black boots, looks far better IMO and rare now. The stadium frieze with the past history should still be there, yes this was when it was new but they could have remade it and added recent history to it. Made our ground stand out from all the other identikit stadiums a bit that did.

You’re normally spot on with these kind of things, do you know why Sunday and not the Monday? I’d have thought Monday being better day, shops less busy, bank holiday etc like 2014.
-
Brugge was different scenario though, as others have said only really Bolton is the equivalent. Plus Brugge was bloody hot!
-
IIRC their fans ran on as well, but in our end on the pitch I’m sure Nigel was amongst the fans, long time ago now but I’m certain I saw him.

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement
promised land replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
At these fan meetings some of you attend, do these types of topics ever come up? If so what is the clubs reps response, something like, we will have to look into that or we will have to get back to you on that? I think on the last game against Blackburn, as it should be all done and dusted by then we either all throw a tennis 🎾 ball onto the pitch on the 25th minute or all go down to the concourse on the 25th minute. That will show them. might be a selected tv game as well -
2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
promised land replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ok, so I’ve had a season card like a lot but I’m fecked if I'm going to hand over another pony to the club, so his does this mobile ticketing work in easy steps please? Do we get an email before every home game and is there an app we need to install? -
2024/25 Season Tickets: Renewal Dates & Prices Confirmed
promised land replied to Ian Nacho's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thus club is a joke, £25 to keep a card and what is wrong with reusing this seasons? But they still insist on having muppets hand out crap cardboard at the turnstiles every game, hardly eco friendly that is it? -
My thoughts exactly, if Everton, Forest still get punished then Chelsea, Man City, etc all the others mentioned should get punished too. Or they reinstate the ones deducted.

A lot on here slate tv companies and I guess buy it monthly, I had sky on and off since the early 90’s but booted it 4 years ago when the basic package and sports went over £50 a month, for me that was it and haven’t had it since or ever will again.
-
That’s the answer is it? We live on a very small island but still have 3-4 hour travelling to grounds and get bent over by tv companies so we should dig deep and spend on hotel accommodation? This season I’ve made a decision, no Saturday 3pm kick off away then I simply won’t go and I have kept to it, also any stupid ticket prices, Cov, Chelsea etc no thanks. Luckily so far games haven’t been moved after ticket sale dates so I’ve been ok, not sure if they can still be moved after, Arsenal away in Prem winning season springs to mind though. Yes I did go but now I wouldn’t.

Any chance you could rewrite this in English so it can be read and understood? Thanks in advance.

Chelsea Ticket & Travel Information
promised land replied to davieG's topic in Ticket News and Travel
I never knew that, I was down there the last time we went there in the fa cup, but for all the recent Premier league matches always on the corner or upper tier. -

As long as you’re not right at the back of the lower tier you’re ok, as if you are it’s restricted view at the other end. -
Yes, it doesn’t sit well with me either, what really annoyed me was removing the original frieze under the roof with classic shots on, all around the ground, replaced with King Power branding, in some areas they’re no better than Ashley when he was at St James park.

Bournemouth FA Cup (a) Match Thread
promised land replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
That’s what stopped me doing away cup games years ago, if the manager isn’t arsed about it then why make the journey and take the time off work. -
All games on final day are played at the same time like any other league, 3rd May 2014 when we played Doncaster was a Saturday and they were midday kick offs then, no idea when the EFL kick off now on final day but I think it will still be a Saturday fixture list. TV will be dictated by other important games I’d guess Leeds v Southampton will be up there for tv coverage and anything riding on promotion, relegation.

SK1 were singing, 'we can see you sneaking out', 'is there a fire drill', 'we stay til the end', last night at the mongies leaving early, we need more joining in with it to humiliate the idiots that do leave early week in week out. Also the club should trace back their seats and ban them from entering the ground should we be celebrating come the end of the season. The trouble is, those mongies that leave on 85 to miss the traffic as they put it, well with more lemmings joining them, they will start leaving on 80 and the circle continues. Hopefully they will miss some crucial late goals or the day we clinch it due to other results unfolding etc.

LCFC must offer General Sale to fans
promised land replied to Union FS's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just an excuse for not selling out like the one above saying people can’t afford it when it’s cheaper than a league game. I’d ignore all the muppets with excuses, fact is they were on general sale, 3pm kick off on a Saturday and cheaper than a league game, empty seats all over, yeah we really need that extension building. -
Jesus wept, 3 days before a game the players should be in their homes in bed early then? I remember in the 90’s, we were in the top flight and I saw players in Loughborough in Busters the Friday night before a game. No doubt they were heavily reprimanded and fined a years salary and put under curfew. He’s a young lad and footballers by their nature don’t really grow up as they’re surrounded by lads of a similar age at most levels whereas you and I started work at 16 and were immediately with people one or maybe two generations older. I am not saying I agree with what he’s done as I don’t and refusing to blow into the bag is not a good idea either.
-
Why does the club need to get involved? Was he still pissed on Monday night then? What he does outside of his working hours is up to him, but not complying with traffic plod at the scene is very stupid, he deserves a ban as any drink driver does. It won’t mean a lot to him though as he can afford to have a chauffeur/ private hire at his whim.
-
You’re delusional chap, the club are more than happy to have a family friendly atmosphere with no animosity or loutish behaviour in the ground, they like the fan cam, shitty t shirts, clappers at the gates stuff. Sadly the days of getting a loud ground intimidating away teams and making a hostile environment are long gone here, we are nothing like places like Elland Road for example. At half time last night I looked along the row and there were 5 or 6 small flask cups and bags of sweets all neatly placed on the concrete wall behind the stair well, is this what going to the football has now become for some? It’s a family of 4 or so as well. While we are on about atmosphere, I think our club has too many shufflers compared to other grounds, ie fans in the 60’s,70’s, yes I know they have a right to be here like anyone but as a proportion of the fan base when you leave the game the road out is littered with them shuffling, limping, hobbling away. As the younger fans struggle to get tickets and the fan base gets older this will lead to a fan problem in seasons to come.
-
Great atmosphere, watching the end of that has brought back memories of the last time I went there when Gray scored in the 1-0 win after the crash.
-
There are loads of fans that do this, in a season they must miss something like 2 or 3 whole games, add in the 20-25 minute piss run as well. I find it bizarre, would you do that at the cinema? The ones that really baffle me are those that pay over the odds to park in the car park behind the kop, you walk out after the players have left the pitch and they are lined up like the start of a Grand Prix, sitting there for what? 30-45 minutes until it’s cleared, how much of the game does Max Verstappen right at the front of the line miss to claim his spot?
-
Is this the smallish chap with glasses, wears a different syrup every away game, mowhawk, jester hat etc? I am sure he’s not the full quid, after the darts first tournament at the basketball arena a few years back there were dozens of people around the city that night with those dart boards around their heads, the very next away game he had one on, I asked him if he went to the darts. He said no, he’d bought the dartboard head gear online, madness as I’m sure they were giving them away that night. When you ask him why he wears whatever is on his head, his answer every time is ‘why not’. Its not his seat anyway, read the small print on your ST it should tell you that.

promised land replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
I thought the same as well, ref seemed to take a while to make the call as well.
