I sort of agree with this. The only way we become sustainable is developing players. The problem is you ain't getting much quality nowadays for 2 - 5 mill in a youth player. Look at the 2 Bournemouth lads Huijsen and Kerkez both signed in the 15 -20 million euro bracket, you need a backroom team that knows its stuff. Ours doesn't and thats where we need to spend. You can then see why Skipp seems a fairly decent signing to the recruitment team at £25m - Premier league experience etc and only a few million more. In reality he isn't and we've landed ourselves with players we can't move on
