  1. Likewise. My last game was the horror that was Brentford. I simply want to see Vardy play for us one more time, remembering what he’s achieved rather than what has become of us now. Then, hopefully, a new era dawns next season, with lots of keen young players supported by three or four senior pros.
  2. Seconds have slaughtered Northants in two days. Dilly ding.
  3. Well done Foxes. This must be the best start to a season in years!!
  4. It's aim was to raise the profile of the concerns many LCFC fans, including myself, have. The fact that the plane and its message have been featured on numerous mainstream media and social channels means it was a resounding success. No one expected Top to see the message, or subsequent coverage, and immediately sell the club and sack Rudkin. But it does highlight the utter mess we've made of the last four seasons (the cracks were well and truly appearing the season before we were relegated). The orchestrator of the protest was anything other than self-centred. He has put time and effort in to raising awareness of the legitimate concerns many of us have. To be honest, if you can look at how we've performed over the last four years and think it's been anything other than a total mess, the word with which you conclude your statement comes to mind.
  5. I haven’t been to the last few games, but I’m thinking I’ll go to the Southampton home game to ‘say goodbye’ and watch him in the flesh one last time, as I think it is now time to say thank you, and farewell, to the greatest player in the history of the club. That goal against Liverpool, for me, was the greatest moment in my 50 years supporting City. Thank you, Jamie
  6. Agreed! It’s super coverage on LancsTV to be fair. Excellent camera work and good commentary. And all for free.
  7. Made his comeback for the 2s this week. Does seem like some decent young batters making runs in the 2s. I’m just starting to feel we may have a viable future on the field. Not so sure off it.
  8. I'd say this is one of the most comprehensive wins we've had in some time. Really excellent. Dare we hope for something this summer??
  9. Every now and again Jarvis likes to announce something to generate some headlines. Ground redevelopment for example. Gives off slight second hand car salesman vibes. Then again I am Mr Cynical.
  10. Agreed. The football is going to be miserable. We may as well try and celebrate the Vardy inspired great times. They need to do a proper pre match video sharpish
  11. Premier Ambition isn't attributed to anyone - we, as a club, have that ambition, but amateur decisions are destroying that ambition
  12. For me, King Power is simply the sponsor. 'King Power out' type messages don't really help. What needs to be highlighted is the amount of shocking decisions that have been taken by the senior leaders. Of course Top has ultimate responsibility for this. He quite clearly needs to recruit a far superior senior management team. Ideally I would like to see King Power retain its backing, but with significant changes at board level, and a change in attitude leading to them communicating openly and honestly with we, the supporters.
  13. so I've run a few PR companies over the last few decades. I've supported City for 50 years. Doesn't mean I'm expert, but I can offer some thoughts: We need to communicate with outsiders, not ourselves. Keep the slogan very, very generic if you want people to remember it Focusing on individuals make us look a bit tacky The most successful slogans in recent years have been Make America Great Again and Get Brexit Done. I hate the aspirations, but as communications devices they are genius. I'd recommend those thoughts guide the ultimate choice. Well done @ozvaldo. It takes courage to do something like this.
  14. You may be right - who are those five better players on the bench on your opinion?
  15. We may not be very good. That’s one thing. But the utter lack of fight is another. We simply don’t look bothered
  16. That new commercial director did a fine job.
  17. Not worried about the dog. I’d find it amusing though if the next time he plays the whole ground woofs everytime he touches the ball. Would provide some much needed match day entertainment
  18. A footballing nonentity. Clearly he has something when he tries, but he rarely does, which is despicable. What a waste
  19. Spineless. Week in, week out. It’s the apparent lack of effort from most of them that stinks
  20. It’s all so sad and feeble at the moment and saddens me. So I guess I am still bothered, yes
  21. The 40 year old Peter Siddle who announced his retirement in December last year?
  22. I'm sorry, this is a dismal take. Ours was a start. Protest movements in all walks of life start small and grow. The point is to try and build on Saturday, which gained significant national media attention.
  23. well clearly they are thinking things out, as earlier in this thread they've stated why they've delayed releasing details. Even if you're lazy, it's pretty obvious the gathering will be reasonably close to the ground and at around 11.30am. It's currently Tuesday. The game is on Saturday. You're clearly devoted to LCFC given the amount you post. You can do this. And it's bit rude to suggest they're not thinking things through just because their plan doesn't meet with your approval
  24. spot on. There are plenty who like to vent their disapproval. This is an attempt to build a community of protest, and these things always start small, and with no guarantee of success. But you have to start somewhere. Good luck to @ProjectReset and all others involved in trying to make this happen.
  25. I’m taking the positives: the whole weekend beckons without interference from my football team
