  1. Ermm, they are certainly guilty of complete ineptitude. Regardless of whether we broke the rules (which we probably have), the management have financially mismanaged us, and allowed us to slip from best of the rest to relegation.
  2. As has been pointed out, sadly it's dominated by one side and even Leverkusen's success is just going to lead to them being asset stripped by Bayern and other clubs. Massive issue is also the fact that the money in the league is so heavily tied to prize money, as opposed to a more even distribution via TV revenue, so that's just another mechanism for ensuring the teams at the top stay there.

  4. Cracks me up that people boo Chilwell
  5. All the back 4 are not good enough for the PL. You can get away with a couple in the team if with good PL but they look so exposed as a unit
  6. Vestergaard got away with that as well
  7. Are once, it won't be a complete overreaction. Still well in our hands but pretty understandable if people start panicking
  8. This should be pinned anytime somebody goes off on one about tactics. Modern football has become so obsessed with tactics they seem to forget that the manager's main job is to lead the team through motivation, culture etc. but it's the players perform that wins the games most of the time. It's only when you get to a Man City or Liverpool level that it's really going to play out in a big way. Exactly as you said, it's those subtle tweaks that gain you the 1% needed to change a game in your favour.
  9. . I thought that until he decided to give Hamza the armband, straight after being charged for drink driving (yet another black mark on his record)? Realise he probably didn't have the luxury of dropping him but that was such a disappointing message, which is a real shame since it had probably been his biggest selling point; what he was doing to the culture of the club. Even Brenda dropped players for being complete tools which says a lot.
  10. Definitely. And given Mavididi has been largely awful for weeks, all the more reason to shift the sides of the full back moving into midfield. If you're not going to adapt your shape in a meaningful way, at least flip the mirror image
  11. Said it in the week but he's jaded. Never gets a rest so hopefully a few weeks rest will sort it
  12. Justin had him on toast, when we were actually organised
  13. And the blatant red card they should have got. I think stopping the play when there player had been kicked on the foot and then not doing it when Winks was kicked in the head showed that he doesn't understand the laws
  14. He is a clown but not sure you can say he's on the Tele considering the pen he gave us
  15. Ah, I came on to moan and instead an equaliser is spoiled. At least I can moan about that I guess
  16. Yeah, definitely struggling with a knock
  17. Why did we kick the ball back? They kicked it out for their own player after they had played on and been penned in
  18. He's always been better on the left. I don't understand where this narrative has come from
  19. Now we have the full context, Faes has been a truly dreadful signing. Tipped us over the edge financially, whilst giving Brenda an excuse to not pick Soyuncu who would have done a much better job
  20. No Iheanacho on the bench is stupid. Won't change the system which means it's impossible to get Cannon and Daka on the pitch in their preferred positions, let alone their best role. Might as well have 8 subs
  21. The nonsense is the amount they spent before they sold him, especially in the championship. 3 years they lingered there for as well at a time when fees and wages essentially were less (even moreso in the championship). That'll be the one that annoys me the most
  22. Less commercial income than Leeds . That alone is reason for new owners. They haven't hired anyone with basic commercial acumen.
  23. Exactly, it was all there for us to capitalise on and we screwed it
