  1. Can't really remember what it was like to sign a player and be excited about them but it must be close to this feeling. Would happily chip in my own money to get him gone (not millions mind you)
  2. Can't attribute that to Seagrave. KM way too old to have been nurtured through the system at Seagrave and has always been thought of highly. He just got very lucky in that we'd dropped down a division, with a squad that was extremely strong for this level but lacked wide options so got his chance (which he took brilliantly). Even Monga is difficult to say he's a product of Seagrave as he's been with the club way before we moved there. It's going to be a good few years before we can really credit players coming through.
  3. Alves hopefully to get more of a chance, with the option to rotate the wings (but also would like to see Evans get more involved)
  4. The other attributes are true but this one is definitely not. One of the most technically limited players I've ever witnessed. Bearing in mind he has some pace, why do you think he cannot beat a man? Takes an age to get the ball under control and do you ever see him playing any great passes? Seems a nice lad and works very hard but he's just a very limited player
  5. I completely disagree with the recruitment approach but I can sort of understand the thinking in not wanting to take a punt with the replacement when selling a more established player (wish we would). But in this sort of case it's an absolute no brainer, so all the more reason for them not to do it.
  6. If they offer £5m+ this would be an amazing deal. Could easily take a punt on a lower league wide player for half that or from one of the cheaper leagues in Europe, and would almost certainly not be any worse.
  7. Did he not? In the time he played, he scored an absolute banger and was playing out of position really.
  8. Not often I feel sorry for the other PL teams but this whole situation is scandalous really.
  9. Got any links to that, just out of interest? Last point, yes it is simple; Top goes, Rudkin goes and other problems are solved as well. Rudkin goes but Top stays, new DOF likely to be somebody who licks Top's boots and in the event that are competent, they'll still have to deal with all the other crap Top brings and we'll be back in this cycle. Rudkin is a symptom, Top/KP are the disease.
  10. And? You ever worked in a place where people have jobs that's have absolutely nothing to do with that they do. As I said, almost certainly is him but nobody can say for sure because there is absolutely no clarity on who does what at his club is there? Not attempting to absolve him of the probable blame but rather trying to direct my anger in a more targeted way towards a solution that actually fixes it (change of ownership). Rudkin isn't going anywhere. Sorry, let me change it to say that I think Rudkin is doing a wonderful job and in no way to blame. Deserves a pay rise really.
  11. I feel desperately sorry for which is why I stated in my first post that I find it improbable he isn't useless. I then referred to him as a t***. Interesting way to defend somebody . Vardy was playing up to the crowd on that one and not heard Coady say that. Weird he'd say that whilst still employed by the club? My point is that I really wouldn't be surprised if he has a very ceremonial position and the value of contracts/transfers etc is decided by Top or Whelan and he just acts as mouthpiece. Even if he does have complete responsibility, it's not his fault he's so out of his depth and his boss doesn't sack him or move him to another role, even if he does have to shoulder the blame for doing such a crap job. Of course I want Rudkin gone and a proper director of football in but it's beyond naïve to think that getting rid of him will fix anything whilst Top is here, and as I said, Top clearly isn't going to that. All the focus should be on getting Top/KP out as that fixes far more problems and subsequently also means Rudkin would go.
  12. Is he? How do you know that? He probably does but the point is, his role, as with every other t*** at this club is shrouded in mystery because the supreme leader doesn't want to communicate with anyone. And Rudkin ain't going unless Top does so that's where all the anger should be directed. Otherwise you might as well yell into the ether.
  13. Yay, we're back to blaming Rudkin for everything when not a single person on here actually knows what he is responsible. Find it improbable he's not totally incompetent but the fact remains, the only person we can be sure of blaming is Top.
  14. Absolute peanuts for his ability. We can't replace him so we definitely can afford to turn it down
  15. Good player but not really the type of profile we need up there
  16. Because he's a centre back! All well and good pressing but if you go that high up, you had to make sure your successful. Plenty of people culpable for the goal but he's massively at fault for leaving his other centre back (Okoli was playing right back) isolated, as he would be at the best of times, let alone when that centre back is beyond slow. Let's be honest, don't think may of us to give Winks much benefit of the doubt at the moment but he won it back in and was immediately crowded out so not really his fault for losing the ball.
  17. Marauding upfield to not win the ball and leave Lurch 1 on 1 for their second goal. Massively at fault for that goal and that's why we need to get rid. Not saying he isn't good enough for this level but he just makes a silly amount of mistakes. I know people are put off by Nelson after his shocking first half on Weds but he's clearly proven he's good at this level and has got potential to get much better, so should be in
  18. True but it feels like it has to be done. You can't be playing Winks after today and Weds because he simply won't care how things pan out. Soumare, nothing needs to be said. So unless you are asking Skipp to Hamza to sit in and do nothing else, what real options are there? BEK has to moved deeper as at least he can dictate play from there and we can focus on getting somebody with some goal threat in the 10/advanced midfield role. We're going to dominate the ball so we have to just try and make the most of it and hope that can outweigh the defensive deficiencies. Ridiculous that we theoretically have great options out wide and at full back for this level but the spine of the team is either shockingly poor of completely unbalanced.

As crap as he is, was so much better with him on the pitch as at least gave us the option to go in behind. Ayew cannot play up top if he's doesn't have goal threats around him
  20. Spent 90 mins taking one on the pitch
  21. Na, it was one of the fans wearing a full kit with Winks and number 8 on the back. Thought they'd just let him on the pitch and down the tunnel for a laugh. 'If that's him'. Jesus man
  22. No he isn't but the point was he's is one of the very few bright sparks so not criticising him in that respect
  23. Yes but if you're suggesting that watching him is no longer exciting generally speaking, that's crazy
  24. Thanks for providing 1 small spark of hope. Or maybe I should be cursing him as otherwise I'd probably not care at all
