How long do we pursue this Nacho lone striker thing? I'm not knee-jerking based off of today's performance but has he ever completed 90 minutes? .. I know he's been unlucky on a couple of occasions this season so far not to get a goal and I've always had a soft spot for him, but he was poor today. He can hold the ball up ok but there's no creativity to really lay it off to. He'd be so well suited to having a strike partner which I don't believe is something we'll ever see under Enzo. I actually watched Vardy almost exclusively after he came on and he was making real intelligent runs that a ball over the top could've made a dangerous possession but due to the system of "pass till it opens up" were never going to be found. I do like a lot about the new system and I genuinely believe that given time it'll make us a much better side. I just don't know if Nacho or Vards are the men to lead the line. Overall, not a terrible window as a whole. Shame we couldn't offload more of the deadwood but we have brought in some new faces and a couple of exciting looking players. Would've loved to get a creative player like Chair in but it doesn't look like any other business will happen. I assume Ward/Iversen will stick around. Souttar may well be integrated back in so we at least have another option if we suffer injuries. Soumare I can still see going. Maybe Turkey because that windows open longer? As it stands, it looks like Daka to b'mouth on loan and Cannon in from Everton for the final day. I'm relatively happy with that. I think Cannon looked handy for Preston and maybe he can replicate some of that here? Who knows. UP THE FOXES!

I have a feeling this will happen as soon as someone is out the door. It's definitely an area we could do with an extra body. We have no idea how up to speed Coady will be or how well he'll bounce back from the injury. If the price is feasible it's a no brainer. Kids gonna be worth triple what we pay in the new few years! Maybe with the money from the impending sale of castagne this will get pushed through?

I tend to agree tbh. The fact we've managed to get some kind of tune out of Jannik gives me faith we'd be able to get something out of Soumare. There's definitely a player in there, I feel if he'd have been given a run in this side under the new regime we'd be seeing glimpses of why we splashed £££ on him.
