Stringer was a fraud and Pearson saw straight through him
-
I’ve been through both eras and loved MON I had a season ticket all through his reign and seen us at Wembley 3 times and Hillsborugh I just think Pearson along with Shakey, Walsh and Viachi was a bit special along with Vardy and Mahrez two of the greatest players to play for us should never have been sacked.
-
Just edited to say we still would have won the league and gone even further like Fergie / United shame it ended how it did look at us now
-
He is basically a god, realest man to walk the planet. that era will go down as our greatest ever for the next 3000 years Pearson, Shakey and Walsh will never be matched. I think we still win the league if he wasn’t sacked and probably go on a Fergie United run.

Pino won't leave for Palace, I'd say this is still on and be done by the weekend -
What's the point of running for the bus if you have already missed it
-
Leicester is also hardly seen as a place to live either, other places have more pull just because of where they are based, we also won the league with a squad that cost about 30m
-
Newcastle and Villa have shown you can still disrupt the big 6 and have a good champions league campaign even Forest managed to come 6th
-
Makes winning the Prem an even greater feat.
-
Heard a quote on the radio earlier about if you miss the bus you have to start running for it or something along them lines made me laugh

Perfect for Arsenal will turn them into much more of a threat, Tottenham is hardly a great option -
I think you will need more than a beer

I think he will ditch the system though, still believe he will work it out. -

Take Soumare out and put 2 strikers up top would do a lot more good than bad it would at least give the defence something to think about plus with two pacey wingers it allows more bodies in the box as Soumare rarely makes it. -

This system has been awful tbf, it just don't work with the current players. We don't need to play 3 CMs, didn't work under Cooper or Ruud and now looks exactly the same under Marti, Enzo was using an inverted RB completely different I would happily see a different approach whether its 3atb or 2 up front with only 2 CMs think it would be better than this shit. -
Back on topic they have been taking jobs for a long time from manufacturing, automation and now things like self checkout.. I don't think much more is possible that would have a big effect it will just gradually get more advanced, obviously ai is now a threat for programmers and such so I guess it will have an impact on this sector just like it did with manufacturing

True this system is dog shit. -
I got ai (chatgpt) to build a betting prediction model using various stats like Xg/Xga and many other things.. Tested it last night in league one and two games got every prediction wrong apart from 1 It is tracking every game and updating stats as the season goes on so going to see if it improves over time

We can buy one or two but they need to be the right choice and its getting a bit late in the window but still players out there surely we have been scouting players over the last 3 months we only need 1 or 2 to make a difference to the starting 11 really, along with bringing through some youth players. -

I think this is harder said than done I think you have 3 types of players.. 1. Players that will sign but look at the club as a stepping stone 2. Players that will sign who are happy to pick up a wage 3. Players that have under achieved but committed, buy into the team not looking at the club as a stepping stone. We seem to have a mix of 1 & 2. 3 is the Pearson model we can also bring through youth using this method and have a team that want to win things for the club. -
If the players play like they care, give 100% and play as a team then the fans will have there back. Granted Faes should never have been booed so he has every right to give some back. Fans also booed them off at HT which I guess is a bit shit. Odd situation the blame should be entirely on the board imo not the players.
