I was fifteen in 1992 and seen such rubbish under Pleat and Hamilton since 1987 by I felt those players died for the shirt - was it because they were predominantly British? Though of course loved the 2016 team. Now our fans are treated poorly. Had enough of this club tbh and wouldn’t be at all bothered if they went back down; but I suppose it will never revert back.

Not sure whether to despair or not at the minute with the lack of transfer activity, but I don’t know whether I need to seek solace in the fact that any players joining are rarely stated in the media, but from nowhere fees are agreed along with terms etc for somebody ‘out of the blue’ - like Deordova-Reid. That’s not to say that next player will be any good, but does anybody else notice that this is how we do business now, so doesn’t get despondent over lack of action?

Hit the nail on the head mate. That’s how I like us operating. From nowhere, without prior links, a player will have agreed terms etc with us, thread is hot and bang done all in about a day or so of going to print on here. Unless it’s John Percy or David Ornstein - forget it!
